good times for his book, I think you can find spots for any type of bet (RLM in his case) & justify it but if that is ALWAYS being on the worst end of the line movement then you’re going to take a beating
He’s 19-35 this year with bets he’s sent to me, only went with 3 bets this week thus far
Virginia +12.5
Iowa St +8.5
Fresno St +5.5
he could have had 14.5, 10 & 7 (all key numbers)
mind boggling, I’m hoping he wins but he bet against Ok St, Oreg St & Wake, all good teams & all good ATS, you have to want to lose to do this consistently
…..In other news, about to add play number one, let’s go

You mentioned Oregon St. and at -5.5 for the game and 1.5 first quarter looks good to me. Also like Wisconsin +3.5 and money line at Iowa, Thank you for sticking around for the entire season, your input is of value......

Not that I'm nessessarily backing Fresno St. but I wouldn't read anything into the games both teams played against San Diego St. The Beavs won in a rout with the Aztecs going through a mumps outbreak. The Bulldogs were off their demoralizing loss at home to Boise and how many times this year have we seen teams come up flat off a huge game the week before? Both teams are off a bye, which came at a good time for Fresno, but will Oregon St. be able to maintain their momentum after a week off?

I’m not betting Oreg St but slight lean to their team total over, not sure I’ll do something on this game, Fresno is a capable squad & lost by 7 to Boise, I think they are used to playing Boise though & this Oreg St offense is a wagon, not sure I trust the beavs defense to lay the number but I think they’ll score points regardless
I think betting Fresno takes some stones knowing they won’t be able to stop the Beavs, I can see some possibilities of a 34-30 type ending but it’s more realistic it ends 41-27
should be a fun one, lean beavs tt ov as safest look
as far as wisky game goes, Iowa continues playing quarterback shuffle which I don’t like this late in the season, I’d normally look to back Iowa here since they’ve blasted Fickell last couple years with tons of points but this team has a bad feel to it & I don’t trust them, any plus points bet in this one may be how to do it, no solid opinion other than I know I’m not interested in this game at all
best to you sir

Gotta to jump in on Beavs/Dogs (or what I call the Desperate Last Game to Beat Your Bookie Halloween Bowl). The valley has always been tough on the Beavs--two places I'm never confident placing bets is Fresno and Honolulu. I watched a lot of "scratch your head - what was that" games at each.
Was pretty surprised OSU open at 7, thought it was too high and now at 5'. As an alum, I've been blown away by the transformation from...we hung in with Houston and TT to now we are the "it" team or the most fun to watch offense in the country. National publicity has not in fashion in Corvallis since the 41-9 beatdown of Norte Dame in the Fiesta Bowl 25 years ago.
The players have really bought into the program and Coach Shep. As lambs, us shell-shocked alums are also jumping on the bandwagon by filling seats and actually contributing to NIL funding. LeGree's recommitment (search his backstory if you want to know why) says quite a bit.
Without being Coach Obvious~~key to the game is jumping out early and taking crowd out. There's opportunities for chunk plays, Dawgs defense gave up quite a few versus Boise and Rice. FSU's opportunity will ground and pound with turnovers. I'm not sure if RB Luke will be cleared from concussion status.
Anyway...it's going to be a game for me to have a couple of dollars as a fan. I think OSU has had this and Boise game circled as the must haves this year.
OSU 34-20

well if you read the thread my friend is on Fresno @ 5.5 so I did a complete breakdown of the game for him & came up with some advantages for Fresno, defensively & special teams & extra prep time for this offense, Fresno has solid coaching , add in some iffy weather & im not going to push it
Fresno doesn’t get pressure on QB so Beavs should put up points
I’ve been on beavs alot this year & their team totals so I love their squad, kind of cool that they are better than the Nike school with ALL the money & resources
I still think better than 55% chance beavs cover but I may choose tt over or just leave it alone
Thanks for chiming in
go Beavs go

you asked me early in the week about USc as a home dog & my response was “can the buckeyes just play bully ball with the Trojans, that would be my concern for backing Lincoln”
I was wanting to consider Ohio st but once I got into the thick of it I actually lean your way & likely make a bet on the home dog here
we have a few things factored into this game but ultimately we do have an extreme buy low setup here
this game was supposedly sold out two weeks ago but that was before the Wisky disaster & now there is rain coming, I can’t imagine the fans in LA packing this place out & being that motivated, some will likely sell their tickets to Ohio St fans is my guess, Buckeyes travel quite well so not sure how much of a home field advantage the Trojans will have, rain & weather in the 60’s won’t matter to buckeye fans
from a matchup perspective I don’t see Bucs hitting many explosives, I think they’ll try to dink & dunk & get their run game going, don’t see them allowing the new Qb to potentially lose the game, just my prediction knowing how Ryan Day coaches (he could surprise me & chunk it over the top but I’m not seeing that)
Buckeyes do have a solid defense but they don’t get consistent pressure on the Qb, to affect Maiava you need to pressure him, if he has time he will find his weapons, I think usc will be able to possess the ball on offense in this one
I think your total lean under is likely solid & your lean of USc plus the tuddy is likely solid, I see this being close
somebody wins 24-23

@WahooS Ucf just had their biggest win....now is Baylor the play in a letdown spot?...
told you I’d get back here, the squad is fired up for tonight & interim has their attention, he has assured that he will “let the offense go”
if you look at last year interim coaches in first game were covering spreads at a great rate, I think market is reflecting this one now
Frost has talked to his team about not being in a letdown spot all week despite upsetting byu & fans storming the field, will that be enough?
the bounce house is a great environment & should be rocking tonight, Baylor maybe slightly better without Aranda but spread doesn’t seem to factor in a solid homefield adv
I think Baylor will bring it & considering a first half tt or full game tt as a possibility

best Friday read in the land, already week 9, hard to believe, thoughts on Dawgs Gators, both off bye week, Dawgs looking to rebound and Gators off Texas W, you think the line is high or about right? Been to last 3 Dawg SEC games at Benz, they are basically at home and I think line has that factored...
Have a good weekend and thanks for such a great insight into the best team sport we have in America...

line is a touch rich for my liking but great spot for Dawgs after getting time off
Kirby has been money off a loss in his career & Dawgs offense should have success against Gators D, the fact this is a home game is big for Kirby (Georgia Dome is basically home)
as I look at matchup I think Gators are making mistake starting Philo, Jones would present more issues for Dawgs defense with his scramble ability, the OC for Gators (Faulkner) has had success against the Dawgs defense when he had the right QB @ GTech & now he’s got a loaded group of skill players, the Gator skill players are legit, I really thought they’d start Jones, stunned that they aren’t as Sumrall is a good coach, they must like the matchup on their end, maybe that’s why he’s coaching & im giving advice on covers ha
it would surprise me if Gators won this game with Philo, I do see Dawgs putting up points & this being a fast game
I can’t bet over 34.5 tt for Dawgs but I do lean Gators tt over 21, just too many weapons to not score some points
id say 34-27 Dawgs is about what I’d expect, gators may score late to get the back door but Dawgs should win
IF jones was starting I’d take the points
cheers amigo

just to get this out there: I don’t “play RLM.” I do not, however, typically play into the teeth of it either. I just like to know about it. As I told my son a couple of weeks back w/r/t the Memphis / Tulane game, “I’m not sure they actually have to play this game; feel like it’s already been decided.” I got him off of Memphis. He thought I was some sort of savant. That will pass.
@Boisestateand8
Good info, thanks.

Buster Faulkner has faired well when facing Georgia when he was with Georgia Tech 2023-25.
If I can get to +14.5 I'm definitely leaning taking the points
