been a lot of places, and held lsu season tickets for decades. I absolutely loved my first trip to Neyland last year. I would haunt that place if I lived closer.

If you like RLM (and I really like RLM), you may be metaphysically required to bet Fresno blind this week. Put a little on the ML too. Do I know why? No. That’s often how it is with RLM games. Of course, Fresno lost to San Diego State, who the Beavs beat by 50, so there is that

Just read your post on Lanning....funny I just mentioned him in my post before this I bet USC wants him!! Or a Big12 conference who the powers that be are seeing is a very competitive conference that can snare a #2 seat like BYU just tried out playing musical chairs these past two weeks Lanning is up there with my top 3-4 coaches. Freeman, Cignetti and Smart ....DeBoer on notice to be my #5 with a bunch others
Arkansas would kill for him.........
People rarely do that which is not expected of them.

I watched whole Indiana Northwestern game! Indiana controlled 1st half until Turbo Richard got hurt! IU also missed a couple of easy scoring opportunities in 1st half. Indiana not the same as last year! Their offense has taken a step back!! I Also like Ducks! It's their Homecoming too!

Maybe I’m late to this news but Moore announcing he’s not coming back for the rest of the season (prepping for the nfl) rubs me wrong- rumor is they were saying he was visiting specialists in Pittsburg for his concussion but people debunked that- saying he is just pretty much quitting on his team since the Ducks aren’t making the playoffs….whatever the truth is it sounds like there is some controversy in Duck land….. how can we not take the N Texas tt over? FAU defense is terrible GL this week Wahoo!
I agree about Oregon. There's also the report of multiple Ducks players being involved in a street racing incident after the Nebraska win. Not sure what's fact or fiction, but their best WR was cited for DUI, which was later dropped, and their starting TE was cited for excessive speeding on that same night. Last I heard the cops were still investigating. One thing I noticed when I was at Autzen for the Boise St. game is that they lacked discipline. They committed ten penalties in that game, including two for unsportsmanlike conduct and several false starts. Now we add in the rumor about Lanning being on the hot seat and Dante Moore not coming back this season. The loss to Illinois was inexplicable and shows me a team that lacks focus. The Ducks have covered the spread just ONE TIME this season, and that was at USC. I had the Trojans in that game, and after they tied the game at 27 the Ducks went three and out, but were bailed out by a weak roughing the passer penalty, which completely flipped the momentum in that game. Oregon strikes me as a team in disarray, much like Penn St. was last season before James Franklin was canned. Maybe they'll fire up on Homecoming against Northwestern but I'm not betting on it. Sorry for the long essay.

Ya, unfortunately, they are beginning to behave like USC does ...so fickle from one week to the next in style
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

I have a friend that bets RLM religiously, he’s about 40% in his career & swears “the public never wins” , dude is always paying the book, he was all over Eagles last night vs Cowboys after I called him & gave him boys team total over, he argued my bet then told me eagles were the “Vegas side”
this weeks he’s on
Virginia +12.5
Iowa St +8.5
Fresno St +5.5
I can’t imagine a world where I bet with line movement like that, that’s just me brother

I’ll also add his biggest bet this entire year was Texas A&M +3.5 @ Mizzou, he called me & said the line moved toward Ags & Vegas knew, I tried telling him the Aggies werent going to win or cover without a miracle, he hit send anyway
the RLM hasn’t been kind to him at all over the years, tough to watch
he’s seen me beat the books for 30 years with “too many public” bets & he still doesn’t bet with me
He’s a great human but he’s so mind fkd from gambling that he can’t make himself bet what he actually likes

He’s right in theory, just overlooks the fact that the internet age was 20 years ago.
as a result Vegas has balanced to accommodate consenus backers.
right theory, wrong time.
RLM and consensus betting still applicable in certain spots. Haven’t ran all the numbers but when i ran for MLB it was only in a specific odds bracket that consensus fading worked.

“if you wouldn’t bet the game on a Saturday then why are you betting it on a weekday?”
that is so very true & always stuck with me
I see threads go up every single weekday during these trash games about bad players & stupid decisions by coaches, it never fails, why would anyone bet these games unless you’re just an action junkie?
im trying to beat the books, not have action
just my opinion

yes, we are opposites in betting styles but he’s just doing that for fun, if he was betting big money he would stick to his “top 3” & shin kick his book in the face
when we do our bowl thread together I have to talk him out of half the games, he will bet them all if I let him haha
he once sent me a list with every side & most of the totals picked for every bowl game, I couldn’t believe it, he was dead serious

that's how i feel about the oregon game. good one to leave alone. the NW game at mich st was a weird one. special teams f-ups by NW played a big part in keeping it close. then there's the chip kelly angle.

The Michigan St. game was the "Pat Fitzgerald bowl". I'm not reading too much into that game. It was no surprise that Fitzgerald wanted to stick it to his old team. The Wildcats are the real deal. The wounded Ducks are gonna have their hands full.

yes, I’m definitely not going to bet any side or total in that one, just no interest at all
I’ll cheer for my old homie TorontoMac (MaineRoad), he’s on ducks so quack quack
