oops....forgot to mention those 2 killed in the car accident were from Euless too.....plus a 3rd

 there's about 3-4000 Tongans that live in Euless....and they are all family basically....

interesting....the Tongans came over here to work when DFW airport was being built....because they got flight benefits and could fly home cheap/free...

I would imagine that Texas BBQ has a lot to do with that.

Florida RB Matt jones out indefinitely w/ "serious" viral infection 

Florida OL Jon Halapio out with partially torn pectoral muscle. I'm assuming he's not gonna miss much time though

    his Offensive Coordinator, Aaron Price on the
    eve of opening fall camp. Norm Chow will
    resume play calling duties.

    Update , Norm Chow will perform playcalling duties . He
    will use grad. assistants to coach QB's and WR's.
    This could be an interesting development for Week 1
    vs USC. Already a crummy offensive team, this has
    to hurt their continuity as they prepare for the Trojans.

    Tulane has eligible DE Tyler Gilbert, who you may remember from his burglary in Arkansas.

    "Gilbert allegedly kicked down an apartment door, stole undisclosed items and hit a resident of the apartment with a crowbar."

    Tulane also adds LSU transfer Chris Davenport and QB Nick Montana.

    Tulane does not have their regular practise field.  They are using that for the construction of the new stadium,

    They are borrowing the field from different places plus the Tulane baseball field.

    this is an interesting development.   I think the bigger question will be is USC prepared to go to Hawaii and dominate a bad Hawaii Team and their former OC?   From a talent perspective this is a mismatch, but I know a lot of us (including yours truly) lost $ in the USC debacle against GT in the Sun Bowl last year.    Those person barely even show up and did not give a half a dam.  That is a poor reflection on Kiffen.  

    I may also take another look at this matchup.

    *with exceptions.....1st game a dominant player is out......PLAY ON.........next game fade.....in this case 'next game' being Bama......since Sam Houston week 2

    vs Rice the supporting cast (should) actually step up their game some.....and slaughter the sorry night-birds....
      *kinda sorta reduces the chance of complacency....

    I would be surprised if anything happened to him tho....

    I think the NCAA is in danger of losing control of College
    football , with all the conferences and AD 's , trying to
    outdo one another in the  " money grab " . I believe if
    the NCAA has an opportunity to flex their muscle , they
    will use it.
