  CB  Exum out 2 more months or so....
   *maybe 10/12 Pitt....likely after bye 10/26 v Duke ??

  LB Hasley quit team.......(already has degree....he's maybe a back-up this year.... heat index is 108 or so)
> he say's F' it  ....
    *a liability vs speed teams.....but a tough tackler vs running teams like LSU ....and their leading ret tackler

Hasley was listed as the starting MLB on the spring depth chart in front of Jonathon Anderson.

Anderson is a Junior as well that came in as a 3 star DB. He's 6-3, 208.

All accounts have Hasley getting beat out as a starter in the spring, but had game experience. TCU top 2 tacklers from last year are now gone. They are somewhat weak at the LB position as well as the OL.

Jeremy Hill has also been reinstated by Miles, or team vote, take your pick.

Practiced today for the first time. Alfred Blue will remain the started as Miles stated Hill has a ways to go before he's game ready.

The further we go into fall camp....the more the Steele mag becomes casual reading...as changes occur

 terrible situation at LB for Frogs.....the 2 starters now are basically safeties.....and a couple of 200 lb true freshmen might have to play here.....
  *vs an OL averaging 325 or so.....depth guys are even bigger usually....plus a 280 lb TE....and BIG backs....all bigger than TCU LB's it looks like........

BA, I'm liking LSU in week 1 more and more.
If Fields is out , and they lose depth at LB
and LSU RB Hill reinstated , that matchup got
a whole lot better for me.
The line dropping to - 4 1/2 helps as well.

trevon randle olb sitting out season.   he finished spring #2 on the depth chart behind George bamfo, but phil steele hand randle starting (I guess b/c he was formerly a highly recruited lb that transferred from lsu)

starting DT Hosam Shahin is missing season to stay home in Canada due to personal reasons.  according to the Houston chronicle: 

"The loss of Shahin is a big blow to an already thin interior defensive line. Shahin was among the Owls’ top returning defensive players after posting five sacks and 9.5 tackles for loss last season. Stuart Mouchantaf will replace Shahin at defensive tackle.

Bailiff said the Owls will move offensive lineman Trey Martin to the defensive line and look at other players to boost depth during camp."

 

also, starting rog drew carroll is expected to miss 6 weeks after having an mri (bone chip in knee)

Per CBS Sports, Texas A&M is " Lawyering Up ' in the
Johnny Manziel case. They hired the same Law Firm
that Auburn used in the Cam Newton situation.

Andre Debose (torn ACL) had no catches first 4 gms last yr, finished w/ 3 rec for 15 yds. UF's' all-time leader in avg KR (27.4) & TDs (4).

Florida confirms r-Sr. WR/KR Andre Debose is out for the season w/ torn ACL in L knee. Should be able to get a 6th year.
