RB Coleman has a high ankle (LT)....and a reg sprain (RT).....so must be considered very doubtful no matter what they say......so they now have ONE RB (Edmunds).....< I feel sorry for this guy

I don't think the books want to draw any more attention
to this game than they absolutely have to.

Any Va Tech alums on this site have any eligibility left ?? Your school needs you !!!

this game will be fascinating to watch....

Hokies were gonna struggle to score ANYWAY......
  *they have lost almost HALF of the 2 deep on O from that lame azz offense....including most every RB...
 and WR's have not caught a pass yet in fall camp.....

Is the challenge for Beamer?
NO!!!.....the challenge here is for Saban.... of course
  *if you think the Covers capping clowns are yuckin' it up over Hokie misfortunes....Bama players are really laughin their azz off....

A loss here is totally meaningless to VT (Beamer has even said this publicly....kinda sorta)....
  *actually a dangerous game for Bama.....no coach wants to go against this 'nothing to lose' stuff....
I promise you all this is making Saban more than a little nervous......

BA, I totally agree. If Saban is not careful ,  all this bad
news could take away from their " edge " if the team
is not mentally prepared for a fight. Nick Saban has
not let his team stumble out of the gate yet, and I don't
think it will happen here. Even if he pulls the 1s in the
second half , I still don't know how Va Tech scores.

  *he might get his azz knocked out 1st play

Bama won't turn it over?
  *90th WORST in total fumbles last year....Hokies fading lately but usually great in forcing / taking advantage of TO's

Special Teams and Defense
  *Hokie DC Foster highly respected....and does have the talent to create havoc for awhile anyway 
  *check out how they dominated (a better) Michigan O in the Sugar Bowl.....as good or better than Bama did the next year
  *fading....but Hokie ST among the best....only Bama weakness if any....would be ST play (in spots haha)

LY  Bama had 24 fumbles and lost 12
  
      Va Tech had 29 fumbles and lost 9

      You forgot to mention that Va Tech had 14 more
       INT's than Bama had.

NO WAY IN HE-LL BAMA DOESN'T WIN....AND COVER !!!!......mindset

we know there are a million ways for VT to lose....

  If the match-up itself was all we ever had to handicap....we would all be rich as he-ll......situational factors have been introduced now as well....

Unlike I guess most everyone here...
I have walked away from a game countless times and wondered...."how in TF did that just happen !!???"

wsu db dockery quit team, wasn't starter but was expected to play quite a bit, wasn't happy he had to switch from wr.  wsu db's blew ly so this doesn't help that unit

 Auburn's sack leader from LY DL Dee Ford will definitely miss at least week 1 against Washington State if not more due to a knee injury.
