I've had a few questions and I am still ultimately up in the air. We know the weakness of Texas based upon the numbers and it's their secondary.
I think it's safe to say with how the big 12 being pass happy and that they themselves air it out and that they were up by so much on opponents this year that their secondary is not as bad as we think it is. On the other side their run defense isnt as good as it is, in fact when they faced a team with a good back in the Cowboys he had 160+ on the ground. With that said you give one of the best defensive guys around in Muschamp to prepare for a 1-demensional run offense? Let me know how well that went for G-Tech. Yes, Pryor has been OK with the deep ball, and he will need to be tonight to have any shot; but 54% passing just won't get it done against Texas i'm sorry.
On the other side with Ohio State the fantasy and yes i said it FANTASY of this defense being great is beyond me. They play in about the worst offensive conference known to man kind. Please Michigans offense? The only offense they played that was above average other then USC was Northwesterns and it was without the starting QB and RB. Even Minnesotas offense hung up 21 on them in their house. Whenever they have had trouble it's against the spread offense just like Texas, James my throat larenjitas is the biggest anomally college sports has ever seen. Another Katzenmoyer in my opinion he couldnt even make open field tackles Against the likes of Ohio's Boo Jackson.
My biggest thing to this whole game, and this is NOTHING that ANYBODY can predict, pretend to know, sound like they know by a writeup is how will these teams come out. Everyone can speculate and say OSU jumps out early or Texas jumps out early. W/E it maybe I do know this. If Texas Jumps out early the game is absolutely 150% OVER. If OSU jumps out early it is far from over as we saw last year in the LSU game. I've been conned for 2 years with this Ohio State team and I won't let it happen again. Ohio States defense was better then it was last year and a guy named Matt Flynn beat them
Please, Colt McCoy and the Longhorns possibly playing for the national title if Oklahoma beats UF will be up for tonight and prove to everyone why they should be playing on Thursday.

Good write up! Nice to see we are on the same side tonight. I made several comments in the games main thread while researching and analyzing this game. I wrote in my blog one of the reasons why OSU covers and wins. Check it out.

They also played the 2 top defenses in the country in my mind. Texas is nowhere close
And Texas has a better front 4 than both of these defenses... #1 in the country in Sacks and number #15 for tackles for loss. Just wanted to point that out because it seems that everyone on Ohio St is overlooking that..
Ok St. was able to run because they have a great pass O too.

Baylor tossed up 200 yards rushing on Texas. Their frosh QB ran for over 100 yard and they don't have a passing attack. He did, however, throw a 40 yard TD and the running back broke a 40 yard TD run. OSU offense a lot better than Baylor on both sides of the ball plus they have a completely healthy Beanie Wells.
Boeckman, Wells, and Pryor will all be in the game at the same time...this could get crazy. Remember Boeckman, he had a pretty good year last year and is a pocket passer...wonder if he'll throw a couple to Pryor?
