B will you let me know how OSU is going to hold Texas to 17 when Illinois scored 20.....I dont see OSU holding Texas under 35.

Ohio St. always sends defenders to the pros.....in fact, The OSU still has more pro players than any other college in the nation.

The guys are studs

But not saying they win.

Bibendi...Great write up...I really believe Ohio St can get this done tonight. I respect Texas immensely but if Ohio St can avoid the stupid turnover and control the clock with their running game, I give them every chance in the world of pulling off the upset. I know Texas will score some points but this is the best defense they will see this year. They aren't going to be able to fly up and down the field because they aren't playing another Big 12 team with no defense tonight.

I arrived at this figure b/c I dont think Texas will be able to run the ball and I have complete faith in the future Buffalo Bill Malcolm Jenkins and Co. to hinder the passing attack. Combine that with Ohio St pounding the ball and keeping it for extended periods of time and thats how you get 17. I stand by my number

Nice write up... I agree and wrote a little summary about this in my pick page. I think its the D thats gets it done. Too much talk about the offensive success.

Good Luck to you sir. Just scares me cause I have never been totally against you on a game. We usually have the same thinking either the side or the total. Tonight I see Texas winning by DD and the total going over.

I guess Im probably going to get spanked tonight.

Bibs, I called this earlier this bowl season as well.....I was telling a buddy how Baylor's QB looked like a stud for a better part of the 1st half and obviously Baylor doesnt have near the talent on defense.....I liked OSU as well....Putting my lucky mojo on this ishh

I agree on Texas having trouble throwing all night on the great OSU defensive backfield but I think that Texas' D is actually a little underrated here. They only gave up an avg of 18 pts a game this year in the big 12. That's impressive. So, I think OSU holds them down for most of the game and Texas also does againat a fair at best OSU offense and you have a low scoring game and Texas and Colt McCoy barely outscore the Buckeyes and win 24-20 and the Buckeyes cover.

Gotta go with Ohio St second half, out playing the Longhorns, will make all the right adjustments. In fact Ohio St. should be up by quite a bit more, Texas has gotten a few breaks given to them by The Ohio State BOL
