Yet you are the first one to comment every week on why you disagree with the pick. The silly thing Is you a,ways wait until after he posts. If you really had strong thiughts the other way why not start your own? Oh yeah it's because Scal hasn't posted yet.

Yes great comeback. Unfortunately most of the kids on here have no clue who Nixon is or think that Linda Lovelace is Deep Throat.

POY is the away team on the home team's homecoming, in a matchup of two inconsistent, turnover prone teams.

You must have one hell of a read.  Wish I could actually read it.

POY to follow up 2 embarrassing losses, gotta love the attention person.

Save the drama and the one sided write-ups and just go bet K-State. You're welcome in advance.

True.   Most have no idea it refers to Mark Felt              As for the pick? I like it and was already on it. My initial point was agreeing with Mugg. Scal LOVES this stuff. LOVES it. Good luck Scal

True.   Most have no idea it refers to Mark Felt              As for the pick? I like it and was already on it. My initial point was agreeing with Mugg. Scal LOVES this stuff. LOVES it. Good luck Scal

Actually I'm on a two game WIN streak (Kings and Knicks).

So I'm just adding to success not compounding losses.

Ya see kid, I cap in many disciplines, even to those exotics as far out as hot dog eating contests (and I'm not trying to summon my Nixonian reference with that point).

Wow, taking a very slight favorite (like me) against an OK State team that is superior to Texas, a Texas team k-State almost coughed up a huge lead to. If there weren't a few dropped passes on the Longhorns side KState loses that game.

But you're bubbling with confidence and a 'thank me later' KState play with nothing more than a blurb...interesting....

Seriously, this is a good one. You should play it.

I post these plays for people to win. Trolls, friends, enemies, axe murderers.

    This one is solid.

To those who mentioned SMU's pass rush: That is a good point. They have a very good one (14th in the FBS with 3.13. sacks per game).

But I can tell you this will come down to Hicks and if the run game isn't there, he will be susceptible to mistakes:

Ben Hicks has shown signs of improvement in recent weeks, but he's still susceptible to mistakes. His 11 interceptions are tied for second-most among FBS quarterbacks who have played in 75 percent of their teams' games. That's a stark difference from the past three weeks, in which the Tigers faced two run-heavy offenses (Tulane and Navy) and a third team with a smart, experienced senior quarterback (Tulsa).

One last point to drive this baby home:

Does anyone know the last time Memphis gave up 59 points in a game?

    1980.

Surprising but not remarkable. But this is remarkable...

Does anyone know when they gave up 59 points at home?

    Get ready for this whopper:

    1913

Did anyone tail me when I took Washington State -3 @ Rutgers last year? Yes?

Why did we take the Cougars? They had a superior passing game and the Cougars bottomed out the week before against FCS team Portland State. The Cougars won and covered.

This game is a very similar spot. All these games and situations are intertwined to a certain degree and when you recognize those situations, you exploit them, because the line doesn't account for them. The media has bombarded this Memphis team with the above for its embarrassment last week. We are, like the Cougars, assured Memphis will not only NOT a lay down here, but exert maximum effort. We should get their best. This is why the NBA is so tough to cap. You do not get their best night in night out (see GS vs Lakers last night losing by 20). This is psychological capping in a nutshell. And the metrics, sprinkled throughout this thread also support a Memphis play here too.

GL and thanks to the above.

Does Memphis get the 2 secondary players they lost to suspension (for guns or something) int he game against TU?

Those loses had a lot to do with their down swing....

I'm sure it has been talked about

    No effect whatsoever...

It was a DB and wide receiver. The DB didn't play one snap this year the WR had 4 catches in 4 games.

Scal I think you bumped your head. Memphis defense 658, 532, 313, 531, 624 yards. Now Mayhue doubt and Oglesby out. No rushing offense against SMU stingy run defense. Memphis needs to play their best game ever.  Good luck.
