In JoePa's defense, I believe he did "try" to "fix" Sandusky's sick habits (i.e. taking away his chance of becoming the next head coach, urging him to change).
When it's your best friend, it's human nature to try and resolve the situation "internally" but when that doesn't work and the acts continue, that's when he needed to consult the authorities.....
The University should be penalized for "rewarding" Sandusky the way they did when he was encouraged to retire in '99.

Maybe not but this wasn't the first time this scum was investigated- I would have gotten involved and that scumbag would have never had a chance to hurt a child again- Whether i took care of it, got the police involved, i do not know- but that scumbag would have been put out of business.
