In 2024 Indiana was not a favorite against any top 25 teams 

in 2025 they have been a favorite 3 times and 3-0 against 3 top 25 teams 

Illinois -7.5 

4 loss Alabama-7.5 

Oregon -3.5 

As I see it Indiana line valuations are not congruent in this game with their normal projected line valuations.  Not in the championship no matter the opponent.

You seem to be going out of your way to tout Miami in this match up…versus simply just posting your pick along with a rationale…If you are right, you will look like a genius to the minions here on Covers NCAAF…If you lose, then no one will remember…a win-win for you my friend!

what takes place in the game on the field and the individual and team successes, mistakes and failures ?  Try to predict that. lol 

this is about line credibility and the  lack there of.  Indy is a  relevant participant not a relevant -7.5 favorite.  Period

I read so many threads in past seasons when the elite schedule cupcakes in their schedule? Nothing about Indiana non conference schedule.  

it’s a joke, the big 10 is so overrated and these are the only quality teams that Indy has played. 

They played a killer Iowa Defensive team and won 20-15. 

Miami has the potential to dismantle the Indy offense.  Just like Iowa did just like Ohio state did.  

yea Indy won vs Ohio State but the fact that that is the best team they faced proves my point!

They were a dog to Ohio State.  They have very small sample size playing ranked teams as favorites.  

As I said all this Indians elevation started in 2024 so back checking when they were favorites again ranked teams.

so the most reputable championship caliber team is Alabama and they ended the season with 4 losses.  Where is the justification that they should be a favorite at all? 

Destroying the big 10 teams and playing Ohio State to a close win as  A dog.  

The offense struggled with Iowa.  It appears to me they very well could struggle with Miami’s D.  

In my opinion it’s a possible obstacle.  

I think the line should be Indy 0 to +3, but this isn’t my strength.

yup there is no stinking way the Hosers cover.  If the were a fog I would bet them, so I can’t say they won’t win. The way I see it it’s an even match.  Bounces mistakes penalties end big plays.

IMO you seem to be underestimating Indiana and have some unbridled enthusiasm for Miami... but you didnt ask for my opinion :)

I don’t mind nor do I care about anyone’s money or bets.  I bet on Miami both spread and to win the game.  I’ve seen both play.  

I don’t know this out cone and I’m not standing by a teams past performance and player stats from previous games. 

I bet 95% dogs and usually avoid betting college games this late in the season 

last 6 or so champs all favorites covered. 

I see this game as different.  

Its 2 new teams that had outstanding season and these team took down the previous excellent teams.  

Miami lost 2 games to inferior opponents that scares me to Indy staying undefeated.  Indy’s schedule was not to my liking but i could be way off on my assessment.  

im simplistic about this and congruent with my betting patterns of betting dogs and moneylines.
