Hey LSS, welcome to the board. I don't post much, too many haters for me. I give you some serious props for your selections so far. Oklahoma just covered, lucky or not you were on the right side 
I had already chalked it up as a loser and started working on tomorrow. Anyway.....I have a background similar to yours, though not as successful. Hang in there with the punks on this site...in fact, if I were you I'd write down the names of the people who were assholes to you and later on when they come asking for your advice tell them to get lost. You had the right idea, no need to defend yourself....try to ignore the negativity and just keep doing what you do....I for one am impressed.

Most of the people here suck. They dont know a good thing when they see it. Its impossible to please this crowd. Give em a winner, and they say "Anyone could pick that". Lose, and you will get bashed. It's sick. I predict that people are going to run you off in about a month, maybe less. It's the nature of this place. They are going to pick at your character, integrity, whatever. Not ALL people, but for the most part, there are some real classless people here..
Me? I welcome the picks. I hope to see more of them and am interested to see what you have for tomorrow. I didnt see the picks today until now, but will continue to look for them. I'm sending an friend request too!

I would imagine that your money making/winning ability would be limitless.
Avg bet size is 2 dimes. Typically will go 260-140 on all bets over a calendar year and win 120 points a year in all sports @ 2dimes/point. You have a below avg year and win 50 points and you still net 100k.
Those are the years it hurts to not have the income from your sports service because I was able to net about $80k a year selling the picks, too. But a lot more time invested, headaches, emails, website and different things to deal with I decided to scrap it and just bet and have some freedom in my life.

Definitely got lucky on Oklahoma. Still felt it was the right side, bc they were covering most of the game @ 21-0 and lost the cover and got it back.
Thx for the advice, just looking to talk some sports. If it's too much of a hassle I will move on.

Thx, I've already noted the nature of assumptions. I'm not new to the internet, and not new to message boards. Just new to gambling message boards. Figured they existed just didn't realize how many there were when you really look on Google. Seems this one is the most active.

By the way, I was made aware recently there is a service in Vegas called Locksmith. That is NOT me. Just thought it was a cool screen name with the play on words. "Picking locks" and such. No harm intended, may need to change the screen name.

Nice job Bud.....I read all you have posted on here, and I can tell you are the real deal, your insight and knowledge is an asset to this forum and something Covers needs more and more, Please dont let the teenagers on here scare you away. Your opinion win or lose are valued by many on here lurkers as well as posters. Hope your run continues bro

Nice job today...do you have any advice on how to wager? Meaning, I see your bets are straight up with points...Do you do reverses, parlays, or teasers, money lines? I know money management is key...but just wanted to get some insight...Professional gambling has to be a grind...just looking for tips

Locksmith, I have been at this for over 60 years, as i am 73 yrs old & am very impressed with what you post, i also was a taker for over 20 yrs in my younger days, but now am a pitcher just enjoying myself,keep up the good work & pay no attention to these kids that don't even have an idea of what 2dimes are,lol.

I'll put it to you this way, and unveil a curtain for you.
When I would book bets, the way I got into it originally (and the way many others get into it you would be surprised) is the following:
A lot of locals utilize different web portals now for managing their clients and their bets instead of doing it on paper and pencil over the phone like the old days. The web portal is just like an online betting site. You bet into the web portal, feels like an offshore, but it's really just a local utilizing software for managing his customers.
I knew a few bookies that operated sites like these that were trying to get me to send my customers/players to them and give me a percentage of their losings as commission because they knew these customers/players may win my bets, but they would continue to bet into them and piss away their money on halftime bets and teasers and parlays and other stuff - like any casino. I never really referred anyone because the majority of my clients bet in person at the Vegas sportsbooks.
But after these players/customers left Vegas, I would have them and their friends call me after they left Vegas asking if I knew anyone who would take their bets online. I would know the player/customer asking me liked to just play parlays and stupid bets because they would tell me their bad beat stories, and I said...shoot, I'm not passing all of these losing parlay bettors off to some bookie for a commission. I want all of the action.
So I started an account online for all of these guys and told the bookie all of the action was from my customers. I told my former customers/players to just send me they're bets via text and I would book their bets and I would put their bets into the site. When they sent me a legit wager like Arizona +7, I would put that bet into the system and pass that off to the bookie. And when they bet parlay this and parlay that and teaser this, I wouldn't put that bet in and I would book it personally instead of passing it off.
Needless to say I made a killing to where I was able to start booking all wagers and stopped selling my picks and betting altogether. I was able to learn REAL public betting tendencies, learned firsthand how stupidly people wager, and all the dumb shit they put their money on.
At the end of the day, I just don't like being on that side of the fence. I don't enjoy taking people's money like that. I would just shake my head at the shit they were betting and almost felt bad I was taking their money, I just stopped.
That should tell you all you need to know about parlays and such.
