I followed people till I found out they knew no more then I did.time to stop. I used to have people give me games that won a lot, was expensive, then they started to suck . Done. A few guys who n here from my observations are really good and I tail them.and I win. All about the money to me, don’t care about who is who. But yeah sometimes it’s a three ring circus, but you know what some guys like that and it’s fun most of the time. Gl all of you
I don't even really bet these past few years, didn't place a single wager all last season and have bet maybe 3-4 times this year.
I completely agree with square tho, you need to develop a system that works for you and refine it as you go. It's the only way you'll have long term success.

Anyone who has to tell me that they are a great capper (without a shred of evidence to back it up) is probably not as great as they perceive themselves to be.
A little modesty goes a LONG way. Although you wouldn't know it hanging out around here, that's for sure.
Wow I'm surprised by this answer from a seasoned vet... I guess everyone who gambles can be successful at capping their own games huh Eddie? I guess there isn't better or worse systems because by this theory and by squares theory EVERYONE evens out and no one in the long run beats the books. LOL!
No you all are wrong! MJ, Kobe, Lebron etc etc, They are not on the same level as others. Same is applied to ANYTHING. Anyone on this forum can say they have a system, anyone on this forum can say they are great at capping. Does their word hold true? No. So yes, I will gladly follow a PROVEN capper that I TRUST. IF I am not successful within my own capabilities, either capping or systems plays or what have you. I will follow someone I think is better at it. SIMPLE AS THAT.
ACCEPT there are people better than you and there are people worse than you. YOU CAN NOT HONESTLY SAY YOU ARE THE BEST. What you choose and how you choose to invest your money is on you.

You're a COMPLETE FOOL if you think like this. 100% fool. Blindly following other "respected/popular" member's picks due to their streak or perceived image. What happens when you blindly tail and they lose? Not only will they lose, they will go on a losing streak LIKE ANY OTHER HUMAN WOULD. What then? "Oh, how could they lose? They know this or their system said that this was a 100% sure winner." Well, maybe if members actually capped the game themselves FIRST and then happen to arrive at the same conclusion as the capper they were tailing? IF not, don't be afraid to bet against them cuz they have access to the same information you have? I would hope that the people on this forum ARE HUMAN. What are humans capable of? Mistakes.
When you start handicapping games, you come up with a system. Obviously it's not going to win at first but you will make adjustments. In theory, OVER TIME you will fine tune your system and it SHOULD get better as you become more experienced to the same scenarios over and over again.
I love it how this is an indeed rare time in this covers forum(which I'm happy for). Winners are plentiful (King Scorpio, Eddie, Straightbets, others) and everybody is having a good time but what usually follows after the "good time?" It's comin, I'm tellin ya. Then I can't wait to see all the clueless members who blindly tail bitching about how they lost this much and they hate so and so.
Then it's back to the drawing board for them. Sit around, twiddle their thumbs or possibly be a complete sucker and pay for picks or a service. By doing that you're essential betting at -111 or more for EACH bet. I've been here for a couple years and I've seen it plenty of times. Member goes on a hot streak, everybody follows then that hot caper goes on a cold streak, says that their next pick is a 100 guaranteed winner, members lose A LOT OF money and they run him out of town. It's hilarious I tell ya..
Long story short, develop your own system, cap your own games and don't be afraid to bet against the popular forum opinion. Blood baths occur and they occur pretty often.
After all why catch fish when you're labeled as a fisherman when you can just beg at the dock for a fish to feed your family?
Because in the long run, I'm trying to make money. Not be the best. I guess others have different goals, that is totally fine by me. Again, to each their own.
So if tailing blindly is going to work, I will do that. If capping my own games is going to work, I will do that. Whatever it takes. The point I was trying to make that passed everyone is don't try to be good at something you are not.
