Sure it's tough to lose th eunder in OT, but we have to take those as that is the reason the O/U is higher than you would project to be scored by these teams. Linesmakers have to put in a few extra points for fouling and potential OT. We are gambling that there won't be OT or lots of fouling at the end. It is what it is.
It's like betting the RL in baseball. Sometimes the home team only wins by one in the bottom of the ninth.

True but a one possession thread at halftime doesn't mean it will be that at the end of the game. But I hear ya' If it's close at halftime, there is at least a greater chance of being close at the end. Although in College hoops, you don't know WHAT that 2H will bring!
