L2T Conference Betting Thread

That's awesome RoadKing .... I still get a chance to go into work and do some phys ed classes as a substitute or science or whatever and I have helped out with receivers for football and some for the Hockey team which is rated top 4 in Ontario which is something but frankly, I am not a full time coach ...its just great to hang around atheletes and trying to get better.... other than that, I am dedicated to hitting a high % in betting and its quite the challenge but I have come to know that its all about what you put in is what you get out of it and pay attention ....that's it. Betting is not easy to do successfully year round but its  a fun challenge

I might start dropping in some soccer parlays with my MLB picks when I get around to starting that thread in late April-early May

Play #1 UTRGV -5.5 @1.95 x 2U  ....these guys hung around Illinois,and Baylor in Non Conf and can score a lot if they choose to so I have no issue with Nichols shooting well....helps my OVER as well

Hunch Play: Santa Clara-StM Under 148.5 x HALF U

-both like the 3 pt shot but I think their defenses are both good and you can bet there will be a focus to try to get to the final because that would ensure a NCAAB tourney seat for both teams....still think STM gets in regardless and likely SC but they don't know that 

- STM not as good on the road or neutral as home.... is my thinking

Argentina Primera (I track it for OVER/UNDERS with early high success)

#1 play > UNDER 1.5 Newell vs Platense...... Newell has issues scoring and give up goals but Platense shuts down other teams from scoring and so I would take Platense on the WIN as well but hit the UNDER pretty well

- all 3 other games are OVER 1.5 goals 

How does the most powerful goal scoring team in the world (Bayern Munich) not win tomorrow @ Atlanta? The sometimes play keep away until they get to their home field so I also see and UNDER 3.5 just in case Atlanta ties late

Nice to wake up to a Santa Clara win and UNDER ...

- just $30 shy of $4K profit on the season nibbling ...goal is to land north or $5K somewhere by end of season, but if I don't, this one has been one of the best and fun

Tuesday:

Toe in the water Play #1 - Baylor-AZST Over 152.5

-there is no advantage for AZST to play defensive here and every advantage to try to hang with Baylor who fouls a lot so with AZST advantage at the FT line, they can stay in this and maybe win it

-a check of Baylor and AZST on neutral courts show explosive scores

-neither team will want to lose and retain a .500 record as a result and the winner will pad their record for placing in NIT although, both teams are on the fringes for getting to the NCAAB tourney, but not likely.....both have played well in particular Baylor in the last 8 games

-Baylor with better offense....defenses are similar although AZST has a better system, Baylor can score on any defense with their style of play 

- I can see one team score 82-86 pts and the other around 80 +/- 3 pts

Don't blow your wad on this one....let me check some others

Play #2 - Prairie View -6.5 x HALF U

-Alcorn got throttled during Non Conf season and even lost to Minnesota an 80th rank team by 95 - 50 

-they got throttled by PV by 21 in their last game

-PV hung with Top 40 teams within 10-15 pts on high scores in NON-CONF....that kind of experience they can draw from and if Alcorn is hitting 3 pt shots freely, they can come back and score on them or press the key for fouls and have a 56th best FT shooting 

-I think this line is probably 4-5 pts too low ....enough to try to pad a good day start with a small bet

Strong lean to Cincy UNDER 137.5 

-they are 17th best vs 3pt shot and that is pretty much what Utah likes to do

-Cincy's overall defense is excellent but they have trouble on the FT line ....UTAH is better there so I am thinking that CINCY has to play stellar defense and just pick apart Utah's weak defense in offensive sets or driving the ball to the hoop and this will create a typical game for Cincy like 69 -60 or 72-62 type of score.....

No play yet ...lets see how I am doing with the first two and if still around this number... I will bet a HALF U

Play #3 - UMBC -7.5 in BET365 right now x 2U << early play of the day...have not looked at later games but this one sticks out for me at 6pm

-what UMASSL does on offense, UMBC has proven in two games they can handle with an excellent defense, strong key presence and good rebounding....UMBC has a very good offense and are strong at the FT line. UMASSL is 355th on the FT line so unless they overcome the UMBC defense and shoot lights out from the outside, they have no chance to win this and will hack UMBC in the last few minutes down by 5-10 pts is my prediction and get buried with accurate FT shooting 

Play #4 - Cincy UNDER 138.5 x HALF U @ 1.85

PV up by 8 now with two DAGGER 3 POINTERS !!! boo ya

My recommendation....not official for me......but if you want action:

5 pt TEASER: Montana +8.5 with Gonzaga -3 << they really want this title and so does S.Clara but I think Zags have the defense to stop SC shooting on the outside .... I so want to take SC +8 as they are a favorite but this is a final...and Zags are a beast to handle in a final and this is their best defense in years 

I have to play this Play #5 IDAHO -EWU OVER .... too low in my opinion 148.5 x HALF U

- I want to take UTRGV - McNeese Over too but McNeese can shut down teams....

One of these games might be a nice mix with your teaser if you play it ....GL
