C. Arkansas really need this game to stay within 1 game of Austin Peay for first place in the A-Sun, with the 2 teams clashing Wednesday at Arkansas ...

Howard wins by -32.5 in a smash dot com win 100 - 67 ![]()
Saturday Results: - going to cool off a little for 3 pm games unless is absolutely super solid as I need to bring home some cake into the account so I keep myself from going overboard
PLAY #1 - BYU +3.5 at home x 1U and it this gets bigger, I will add for sure
Play #2 - Illinois -6.5 x HALF U
Play #3 - Winthrop +7.5 x HALF U
Play #4 Michigan -2.5 x 1.5 U
- this line needs watching....it DROPS, I add
- too many weapons and hand skill/size and speed on Michigan for Duke to handle but Duke can play defense so I am leaning to POUNDING THE UNDER too << still considering the TOTAL and leaning OVER NOW
Play #5 - Howard -12.5 x 1U
> 2U comes back into NCAAB bank
Play #6 - Harvard +4.5 x HALF U /Play #7 - Over 154.5 x HALF U
Play #8 - Vanderbilt -3 x 1U
Play #9 Central Arkansas -1.5 x 1 U
Dangling 7 Units so far ..... 2U returned home safe ....evaluating 3 pm and 4 pm games soon
------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY IMPRESSIONS on teams in my top 40:
STJ will remain a TOP 10 team
FLORIDA should stay in TOP 4 but Arizona - Houston winner should slide in there regardless....
UNC might move into TOP 20...lets see what happens and how they win if they do
UCONN dropping out of TOP5 unless they emphatically beat Villa by 10 pts or more...offense is just not clicking now
CINCY might buy a move up into consideration for tourney with Kansas win if they can pull it off
FSU is playing one of the best stretches in their past 5 games of any team I notice these past 5 weeks...
TEXAS-GEORGIA with bubble game later ....
WVU-TCU with bubble game later ....
Stanford-California with bubble game later....
UCLA must beat Illinois to have any chance of NCAAB tourney consideration in my opinion (I could be wrong because over the years, the committee loves Cronin teams in the tourney and gets good position)
UTAH ST @NEVADA ...big game for NEVADA to get some tourney love maybe?

3pm chedda and Fade value:
Old Dom +5.5 - double FADE correlation and they already beat this team /played much tougher schedule
Valpo +7 - strong double FADE correlation and won their first matchup by 7 limiting UIC to only 59 pts
Washington -3
-good positive rank correlation and they have a stronger SOS and +12 pt better point differential!!!

Later Play > Play #10 SF Austin -12.5 x 1.5U
-one of the best home courts in college over the years and this is the best team that I can remember
-they beat Nichols on the road by 17pts and this is a strong rank group correlation but fade of the spread
-it is not going to deter me since SF Austin has a stellar defense especially defending the 3 pt shot and when Nichols falls behind, its going to be a long night for them

Just lost 11k on motherfukkin C Arkansas and it's how it lost. They were up 10 points with 2 1/2 min left, and they let an inferior G Canyon team get em 10-0 to end regulation, then were up 4 with 1 min left in OT and lose. Man I'm fukkin pissed right now. Right call man, you def had the right side, just crazy ending. Good luck rest of the day.

Well 5k game bc it was a thirst 1 unit play and doubled down 2nd half bc those tend to do well on his plays that are semi- lose at halftime. I’m calm now sorry for the f bombs thirst I was just infuriated bc that looked like a sure W on several occasions. Cbb gonna cbb though.

Sucks to see someone lose that way ...feel for ya
In my opinion, I think its best to hit one of the top teams for that much BUT sometimes Vegas makes a major mistake on the small plays and that one felt like a tight line to me....I wouldn't have suggested -2.5
Arizona +6.5 was the play of the day or, Michigan ML , Howard super sure and feel the same for SF Austin although just checking scores now as I just finished dinner

You don't even wanna know how much I put on Mich 1st half and game. lol It's all relative and it's not like I'm betting my mortgage or anything, I'm an NFL guy so I just tail Thirst/Florida Man and sometimes Kasper/Morrissey for my CBB fix as I don't watch enough to really know it like that. Good luck and go Michigan and BYU!

Watching Michigan - Duke on big screen via YOUTUBE ....omg what a game and its just starting
Duke is ready! Lendenborg vs Boozer matchup is epic..... Michigan's Lendenborg already with 12 pts and outplaying Boozer if that is possible ....looks like a first rounder and NBA body and smoothness

I got absolutely abused today, oh well though, I rode some of your bets last week to a huge plus. Illinois looking good, go BYU! Thanks for posting Thirst, appreciate it win or lose, and I'm glad you don't get a bunch of sore loser children like poor Florida Man gets, some ppl shouldn't gamble if they can't handle losing money with some class.

Feb 21 TOP TEAMS update:
" don't care for ESPN polls etc ....my list is who is built to go furthest in NCAAB Tourney"
-it should be clear now, defense is back in vogue and you cannot win without controlling the other team in the top tier and Arizona and Duke have made it a big focus these past few weeks with Totals coming down
TOP 4 Especially have: > Best Size, Talent, Full court Cohesion mix
#1 Duke
#2 Arizona
#3 Michigan
#4 UCONN
—----------------------------------------------------------------
#5 Florida << losses to 3 of 4 teams above early season but much different team now
#6 Houston
#7 Purdue
#8 Iowa St <<< how are they a #1 seed when they average on the road??
#9 Gonzaga
#10 Tennessee << extremely impressive lately and lockdown defense when needed
Also considered > #11 - #20:
St John's
Texas Tech
N.Carolina << get key player back soon and Duke win looks great on resume
Virginia << Duke #1 helps push them up
Alabama
Illinois
BYU
Nebraska
Arkansas
Michigan St
Not sure how to place (IN): Louisville, Vanderbilt, NC State, Kansas, Wisconsin, Miami
Non P5 Darkhorses -could win a game(s) at tourney (IN LIKELY): Miami OH, St. Mary's. Santa Clara, Utah St, St. Louis
31 Teams that should be in: ^^^^
26 Non Power 5 Conference Tourney champs TBD (some above may be some of those leaving 11 - 14 additions from below)
------------------------------------------------------------------
Top Bubble Teams (things could change game by game):
Indiana, SMU, Ohio St, TCU, Kentucky, Clemson, UCF > Play-in 4 > (Georgia,Iowa, Texas AM, VCU ) << Last 4 Bubble teams
> just out list: - unless they win Conference tourney - 1-2 of these could be in PLAY-IN game
Texas, S.Florida, UCLA
Missouri, New Mexico, Auburn
-----------------------------next in line
Yale, VTECH, Cincy, Belmont, Seton Hall, USC, California, McNeese, San Diego St, Nevada
^^^^ still fighting /in the hunt (15 extra bubble squads could win out/impress)
Teams that should not be in NCAAB Tourney if don't win Conf Tourney: Baylor, Auburn, Oklahoma St, WVU, Stanford, Syracuse, Boise, Dayton, Oklahoma, Colorado St, Tulsa, Hawaii, George Mason, Arizona St.
Hot Teams Finishing Strongly (won't make it on merit): Florida St, UNLV, St.Joseph, Butler, Harvard, Colorado

Gorgeous TEASER chances today in my opinion....
I cannot see a Houston team losing 3 games in a row....and Kansas is on the down lately but their home court and crowd will give them a lift. That said, the grit and determination in this Houston team along with the talent such as 2 sharpshooters on the perimeter will lead to an exposed Kansas defense. Kansas had no answer for IWST shooting outside. I think a TEASER buys some breathing room for another tough loss late if it happens.... they are a good bet at -1.5 ATS
TEASERs > 5 PTS: 1U each
Houston +3.5 with UNC (15-0 at home!) +7.5 with:
1. Mississippi Valley +22 - don't look now, but they won a game (last game) and I recall last year they put together a little run after the same thing happened
-Grambling having trouble winning and scoring so overcoming 22 pts to win is asking way too much!!
2. UTRGV +15 - this team beat a tough McNeese team by 5 at home and have fantastic stats on both sides of the ball and rarely are out of a match....they tend to score even better on the road which is rare

Re-Upping my Teasers by 1 U because numbers have changed favorably, on this 3 way:
UNC +8.5 with UTRGV +17 with MissValley St +21.5
