also 24-3 was very accurate when you count ml dogs at plus 200 as 2 wins.   So based on how I calculate not just mine but everyone else’s a as well, it’s very accurate.  Because when you risk 4 units on a ml plus 200 and it wins it counts as 8 wins.   And when you bet 20 units on a -240 ml fave that counts as 48 losses.   I understand no one likes counting it that way but that is the way it is.    you can not say a -240 loss is same as a -110 loss.  And you can’t say a plus 200 win is same as a -110 win.  They do not carry the same weight!!!
Personally dont matter to me, as I enjoy our back and forths, whether good or bad lol..I do respect your picks and knowledge,again I dont care......but as far as record keeping in these forums, since eternity...1 game equals 1 win or loss, reguardless.....thats when units come into play..example, a dog winner at +240...and 2 regular losers ats (-110)....that would be 1-2 +.2units (+2.4  -1.1,-1.1)...........2 dog winners +150 each would be 2-0 +3 units.......a -200 ML favorite loser would be 0-1 -2u etc... Either way, GL
any back and forth we had I feel for the most part was done with respect. There may have been one comment made by each of us to the other which crossed the line of respect and for my part I do appologize.    But overall there is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone’s pick or someone’s betting strategy.  but to be jealous because I get views and they don’t.  That’s their problem not mine

 

Likewise bud, no biggie here, its all good....and I agree w that last part, thats all some people want.... and unfortunately 9 times outta 10, those that want all the attention, are the ones that have no clue whats going on and just looking for clicks...and they use "game of year" and "lock' and those fancy words on every play, so they are hard to take serious....

What’s 40 units???   the only way you can count it and be accurate is the way I count them.    Ml dogs count as they are.  A plus 200 equals 2 wins.   A plus 

 

SB, in the grand scheme of things and mathematically you are correct. You need to realize that this is not the way the average bettor add up his wins. The average bettor just calls a win 1 win and 1 loss as one loss. Sure you may have won more units on a particular win, but for record keeping purposes, the average bettor feels more comfortable using 1 win is 1 win and 1 loss is 1 loss. but brother.  Than we all can just post -900 ml favorites all day and have big time records   No one will have made a cent but hey.  

you just can’t count a -200 ml fave in the same fashion as you would a plus 200 dog.  They do not hold the same weight my brother

Can we try a week with just 2 plays a day and what kind of winners you might accumulate.

Or do both but pick 2 top plays a day. See how that turns out  

Maybe people would change the way they approach this gambling to really make money.

SB, I started off my last statement with in the grand scheme of things you are CORRECT IN YOUR THINKING. What you need to realize is you are among a lot of average bettors and they prefer not to gamble the way you want to gamble. They want to call 1 win as being 1 win and 1 loss as being 1 loss, no matter how many units you put on it. Sometimes if you feel you are right, you just have to swallow your pride and play the game the way the majority prefers or you will always have problems. As long as you are making money who cares what anyone thinks. Just do your 1 for 1 and count your money brother. Good luck brother

i know you side with me on this. And I hope my response to you wants taken the wrong way or with the wrong spirit.    But I must say.  Just because people at covers are boneheads doesn’t mean we all have to be like them.  

as long as we count -240 faves in the same weight we count a plus 240 ml dog we are doing everyone(we specially newbies) a huge disservice and reaching them completely the wrong thing. 

the only peeps that post ml faves are the dumb and the ones looking to inflate their records because they either are touts or aspire to become one
