nropp,didnt see anything on the Miss St-SD game today,it looks like Miss St is getting the freshman back but Bost is still susp.,was going on the under and thinking Miss St but not sure about that many points,
did you look at this one?

Under was the only thing that caught my eye on that game. Can't really trust San Diego to score on a consistent basis. Not really sure on Mississippi State this year with all outside stuff occuring. I thought it best to shy away.

Hey NRopp how do you feel about the Oral Roberts vs Rice game? I might be going to the game. Also, how do you feel about Wassu and Baylor?

Followed you for the last few weeks and was wondering if you would still take the VT under at 132.5?  No idea why my line is so low but I guess everyone must be on your under play.

Project ORU better than what they've been playing lately. Don't know too much about Rice. Couldn't find anything there.

Would probably lean to the Baylor side, maybe the over. Think they're a talented club. Game's really a tossup though with both teams playing back-to-back.

Probably would still take a shot, your call though. Me, personally, I'm not a big fan of playing a bad # (meaning could have gotten it better), but if there is one sport it doesn't really matter, its basketball. Is there still value at 132.5? I'd say a bit. Probably see value to 130, hopefully. Just a unit play, no big deal.

I hope for your sake I-L-L gets rid of Weber asap.  The guy is lost.  I am absolutely done with that talent loaded school until he's no longer on the sidelines.  The super loaded roster will get them to the sweet 16 but that's probably it and it's a shame.

Nothing wrong with thinking that.  That roster is just so stacked I think they'll absolutely win 1st round and have a good chance to be a favorite of a hand full in the 2nd round.  But if they do get there...good luck beating a team that's better than you when you're coach is -5 pts against an average coach (let alone the Izzo's, coach K's, Matta's, etc of the world).

12/23 Results: 2-1 day, could've been 3-0 had Virginia Tech not gone overtime.

Sides: 31-20, +12.70
Totals: 20-10, +8.70
DNP: 38-28


12/24 Notes: Don't like any of the matchups in Mexico. Under normal circumstances, I'd probably take a look at East Tennessee State and Appy State going over whatever the total comes out at, but both teams are playing back-to-back-to-back here, and it's an early tip. Should be a high number of shots taken here, I would think both teams get up 55-60, but both teams will have to shoot well. East Tenny State has played some slow paced teams to start this tournament, but this is more of their style of game and they won't be afraid to run. These two teams opened the season last year to a total of 120, but it was a first roady for Appy and the first game for ETSTU. ETSTU has been on the road all of December as well and finally return for a home game next week. Same can be said for Appy State. Teams have played to some pretty high ball games in recent years as well. Regardless, I think both teams let their guard down and get up and down. Not really too much on Christmas Day, aside from the Butler/Washington State matchup either, which I would probably lean under, especially with an off day of prep time, just not sure the value will be there.

I'm having a real tough time tempering my expectations with what we got this year.  Thanks to dvr I've seen every posession for 4 years, and this is absolutely our best team (counting the 07 final 4 squad).  We'll see how it unravels.

Keep killing it in 2011.
