12/30 Results: Short on Time..., next few days probably be the same...

12/31 Notes: Some one-liners, Taking an under in any Washington game is scary, especially when you combine the fact with UCLA's recent outings of high points. Teams matched up twice last year and Howland tried to slow the game down both times. He was successful in the first meeting as they came away with a win and a 123 total The second meeting he was unsuccessful, as Washington came out and shot 60% and had a big halftime lead, so all gameplans were thrown out the window at that point. That was also Howland's worst career loss. I think it's safe to say defense will be the key here. Both of these teams defenses have surprised thus far being top 100, let's hope it continues. Florida with revenge, and I highly doubt Xavier looks ahead to a rivalry game with Cincinnati, but it's available. I haven't really been all that impressed with Xavier this year, even at home. Oklahoma State takes its first long distance trip all year and it's first game in an opponent's home gym. Have to think Gonzaga puts up a great effort tonight. This is only Oklahoma State's second game against the top 50 and the first one was a loss on a neutral. Look over totals again later...

nropp thanks again for your painstaking research and expertise on college roundball!! I truly enjoy your meaningful writeups. Keep up the good work in 2011!!.. I see Minny catching maybe 5 at Breslin That would appear to be a sound play considering sparty's early season's problems. Your thoughts?

I see they're catching a +7 or +8 in different places. I couldn't find any value on either side. Izzo's had 9 days to prepare for this one, while Minnesota did play the other night in a loss at Washington. Rough spot for the Gophers I think playing b2b roadies.

Just seems to me Eastern Washington's team plays horrible defense just like Portland State, thats why aI was wondering if you had any opinions. You are smart to keep it low on the total of games you play a day. I would say your pretty smart at anything you do. Just look at your write ups and attention to details.
