Need to look @ St. Mary tonight. Gillenwater F 18.4ppg, Mckines F 10.7ppg 10rpg and Rahman 9.6ppg 7rpg are all out for NMST. St. Mary is 9th in the coutry in scoring and 36th in D. Not to shaby against a NMst. team with a losing record even though those loses did come from descent teams.

12/22 Results: Illinois blows.
Sides: 30-20, +11.70
Totals: 19-9, +8.80
DNP: 37-27
12/23 Notes: Absolutely, positively, zero interest in back St. Bonaventure with four starters logging 50+ minutes last time out, including their best player in Nicholson logging 60 minutes. The only top defense the Bonnies have played all year was Cleveland State, and they lost that game by 18 and they only scored 51. Virginia Tech’s defense comes in better than that squad on the defensive side of things, and probably resemble Cleveland State the most as far as makeup of the team. They even shot a better percentage and out-rebounded Cleveland State by a ton. Just a bad spot to log so many minutes and have to come out and play a talented defensive team. Memphis is in a tough spot, can’t touch this game. I’m not sure if they try to run with Georgetown or slow it down. That will depend the outcome. They can do either/or and still lose. Just not sure how they prepared for this one. BYU is obviously a tough place to play and they’re a good squad that likes to push the pace, and they can play defense too. UTEP’s been playing the same way, pretty identical. Floyd’s been pretty decent with slowing the pace if he needs to, and that’s the only way they can stay in this game. BYU won this meeting on the road last year by 6, and they won it without Fredette, who had mono at the time. St. Peters will be playing without it’s top two players tonight at Rutgers, they might not score over the 40 mark. Like UC Irvine too, but this is probably the style UCLA wants to play at, so I’ll lay off there. I like a few tourney matchups including a few early games, post those when I get lines.

Are you at all worried about Va Tech putting up 70-80 pts? Looking at their past games it seems like they have been lighting it up against weak competition 88-miss st, 79-penn state (those where also last two games) 72-northridge, 92 Greensboro and really struggling against good teams in the 50's vs Okie state, virginia, UNLV and Purdue. I really hate to go against you but I think these two teams are starting to get their scoring going and have this one capped a little different. would like to get your thoughts.

Definately possible they score quite a bit, but i'm depending on a flat spot for both teams, one who has dealt with a tough schedule that should start to show some wear and tear, and the other coming off a 4OT game. Playing more an angle than anything, but Va Tech likes to play slow too, so, we'll see. GL either way.

Yeah I think in the end I'm just going to stay away. Va Tech Seems to be one of those teams that has screwed me one way or another when I bet them this year. GL

ILLINOIS..WTF..they do it to me every year..get the nice record before league games start then flat out bow!...im a die hard fan( and that is rare being a redbird alum!) but cant put much stock in this team right now come tourney time

you are a fucking moron too... i said something to a kid who was taking nrpps picks but them came at a another person for taken a pay pick that was the same play.. lol. i don't pay ppl or follow picks. just think its funny that 10000 ppl are following this guy. same thing happened last year, UNCFOREVER had the whole forum following him and by the end of the year he was in NEGATIVE units...
this guy NROPP was 17-4 beginning of the month... since then hes going 13-16?

Your math is poor, unless you left out the 15-6 record on totals for the month (or the 25-18 DNP record).
