When I post a team as a LEAN, this means I LIKE THE TEAM *BUT* I need a better line on that team before I bet it because the line-odds are borderline imo....and 99% of the time it means I will hope to find it during LIVE action -  usually as a result of their opp going on an early run (so the odds drop)

IOW a LEAN is not a bet............ yet.........and might never become.

I very rarely bet on one of my LEANS before game start, and if anyone is following, I recommend them holding off as well.

an_light Also, a LEAN can mean I am waiting on an injury status update... usually not revealed until pregame lineups are available.
