You are correct sir. I tend to avoid the 50/50 coin-flip lines at -110. But Heavy ML favs can often lead to a larger number of "wins to losses" total.......although on the flip side, those ML bet losses when they arrive can bring HEAVY losses in juice and for most people results in bankroll depletion! 
To earn profits, it's just not as simple as betting all the heavy ML favs. 
One must be very selective!
However, that said, by being very selective with my handicapping, I profited quite well this past NCAA season in *BOTH* mens and womens - as well as the season before! Solid and significant profits as accurately listed alongside my Win/Loss totals...
