Bosnia have enough juice in the tank to close out group play with a decisive win.

Bosnia and Qatar get set to meet today at Lumen Field, with both sides still alive in the race for the knockout rounds in the World Cup bracket. While neither side is atop the World Cup odds, desperation will cause both teams to leave it all out on the pitch.

My Bosnia vs. Qatar predictions see the 2022 World Cup hosts getting outclassed.

Find out why in my free World Cup picks for June 24, which is set for 3 p.m. ET on FS1.

 TOP PICK
Who will win Bosnia vs Qatar: Bosnia -1.5 (+114)

You have to squint to see the positives from Bosnia and Herzegovina’s 4-1 loss to Switzerland last week, but the Dragons were in a goalless battle until the 74th minute that day before a late collapse.

With the must-win stakes here at Lumen Field, I expect their attacking talent to finally be unleashed against a Qatar defense that’s been among the weakest in the tournament.

After prioritizing solidity in their first two Group B outings, it’s time for Bosnia to go on the front foot here. I’ll take these plus odds for Sergej Barbarez’s men to finally show their goal threat, and I’d bet it up to +100.

It will require better service for strikers Dzeko and Ermedin Demirovic, but Bosnia should see plenty of the ball, with Qatar averaging 26% possession through two games. As we saw in their opening fixture against Canada, the Dragons are a threat at set pieces too, and that’s another edge for Wednesday’s contest.

Plus, Qatar enters this Group B without the suspended duo of Homam Ahmed and Assim Madibo, and they coughed up 32 shots against Canada in their 6-0 thumping last week.

Bosnia vs Qatar Over/Under pick: Over 2.5 (-161)

These teams both cashed the Over on this 2.5-goal line in their last contest, despite making limited attacking contributions of their own, and I’m expecting goals at Lumen Field as these squads chase the three points.

That starts with Bosnia taking off the hand brake. I see the Dragons being the aggressors here, and their direct style will lead to chances.

Barbarez can turn to Jovo Lukic and Esmir Bajraktarevic to freshen up his front line, and I don’t trust Qatar’s back four to withstand the pressure after their frequent lapses against Canada.

While we haven’t seen the best of Bosnia’s attack in this tournament, they had some clinical moments in qualifying, including a 6-0 win over San Marino and a 3-1 victory against Romania.

The Group B standings dictate an open game, too. A draw helps neither team, and more risk-taking should translate to end-to-end action.

It’s also worth noting that suspensions are forcing both sides to reshuffle their defense, which could contribute to some shaky moments and power this Over.

Bosnia vs Qatar goal scorer pick: Ermedin Demirovic (+150)

Dzeko may be the headline act for this Bosnia attack, but Demirovic looks ready to take over as the spearhead – at least for the next few years.

He netted 12 league goals for Stuttgart this season, and he has to be eyeing this matchup after seeing Jonathan David and Cyle Larin combine for five goals against a dismal Qatari defense last week.

Though the Dragons’ 4-4-2 formation hasn’t led to the type of sustained attacks that you might expect so far at this World Cup, I expect more creative spark on Wednesday, with a higher volume of crosses into the box.

With Bosnia likely to run the show in Seattle, I’ll take this price for Demirovic to pounce.
