Skylar Diggins has had the range in the Storm's series with the Aces. Our WNBA betting picks expect the Seattle guard to stay hot from distance tonight.

The WNBA playoffs get dramatic, with a pair of winner-take-all Game 3s on tap tonight.

The Indiana Fever visit the Atlanta Dream, while the Seattle Storm travel to Sin City to take on the Las Vegas Aces, with each winner advancing out of the First Round.

My WNBA picks add even more excitement to these games with a selection of player props for Thursday, September 18.

WNBA player prop bets for September 18

  • Fever Mitchell o19.5 pts (-122)
  • Aces Wilson o24.5 pts (-106)
  • Storm Diggins o1.5 3s (+152)

Kelsey Mitchell Over 19.5 points

(-122 at FanDuel)

Kelsey Mitchell has been the Indiana Fever’s leading scorer in both playoff games, as she was for much of the home stretch of the regular season.

She lit up Atlanta for 27 in a Game 1 loss and was right around her line for Thursday in Game 2’s win, putting up 19.

Without Caitlin Clark, the offensive load is left to the eighth-year guard, as Aliyah Boston is the only other Fever player averaging double-digit scoring for Indiana in the postseason at 11.5 points.

Win or lose, expect Mitchell to fire away — it’s Indy’s only option.

A’ja Wilson Over 24.5 points

(-106 at FanDuel)

With everything on the line, I expect A’ja Wilson to rise to her MVP-level best in this one.

She’s the only player on both sides to hit 20+ points in both games in this series and will be looking to bounce back from her Game 2 performance where she took just 12 shots in an 86-83 loss.

It’s just the third time in the last 16 games that Wilson has taken fewer than 15 field goal attempts. Expect that number to rise and the scoring number to follow in Thursday’s must-win.

Skylar Diggins Over 1.5 3-pointers made

(+152 at FanDuel)

Skylar Diggins matched her season-high in scoring last time out, and the Storm needed all 26 of her points to eke out an 86-83 win over Vegas in Game 2.

Diggins struggled from distance heading into the playoffs, making two or more threes in a game just five times in her final 16 regular season games.

However, she’s lit up the Aces from distance in this series, going Over 1.5 makes in both games, shooting a sharp 6-for-9 beyond the arc, a 66.7% clip.

I think she stays in her groove in Las Vegas for Game 3.
