Although the Toronto Tempo haven't beaten the Washington Mystics yet this season, they've played them close both times. Toronto's two losses to Washington have come by a combined four points.
The team's contrasting styles have led to two close games, and I'm expecting another one tonight - so much so that I would consider taking the Tempo to win outright, but will happily take them at +2.5.
Toronto's offense is one of the most lethal in the league thanks to its pace. The Tempo are top-five in the W in both pace (80.0) and offensive rating (111.6), and can pressure a Washington team that's 1-5 ATS over its last six.
If the Mystics let Toronto set the pace, they could have a hard time keeping up. Washington is in the bottom three in offensive rating (110.7) and effective field-goal percentage (48.3%) this season.
