The Atlanta Dream and Seattle Storm are riding very different streaks as they meet at Climate Pledge Arena on Wednesday night.

My WNBA picks and Dream vs. Storm predictions see another solid outing from Skylar Diggins as the Storm get back on track in front of the home crowd.

Dream vs Storm predictions

My Dream vs Storm best betSkylar Diggins Over 19.5 points + assists (+100 at bet365)

Skylar Diggins had a poor showing in 20 minutes against the Las Vegas Aces on Friday, but she bounced back in a big way in her last game out, delivering 17 points and six assists against the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday.

Diggins is averaging 16.1 points and 5.8 assists per game this season, good for 21.9 PA. She’s cleared 20 PA in 19 of 31 games this season and delivered similar results at home and on the road.

Diggins hit the Over on this combo line in one of two matchups with the Atlanta Dream.

She’s compiled at least 20 PA in three of her last five and five of her last seven, narrowly missing the mark in multiple instances. Atlanta has been stingy with its solid defense, but Diggins leads the Seattle Storm in assists and is second in scoring.

The Storm have lost five close games in a row, and the team is surely hungry to get back on track at home. I expect Diggins’ teammates to be firing, offering her plenty of opportunities to facilitate.

After Sunday’s bounce-back perform, I’m looking for her to keep the positive momentum going.

Dream vs Storm same-game parlay (SGP)

Skylar Diggins Over 19.5 points + assists

Storm moneyline

Over 161

The Storm and Dream are 5-5 straight up against one another in their last 10 head-to-head matchups. Home court should be advantageous for the Storm, as they’ve won three of the last five matchups at Climate Pledge Arena.

The Storm have lost their last five games by a combined 17 points, playing competitive basketball despite suffering such a long losing streak. This team will be chomping at the bit to get a win, and I expect them to do it.

The Dream and Storm rank among the best defenses in the W, and both squads have done a great job of keeping opponents from scoring at a high level. That strong defensive play has driven down the point total so low that it needs to be bet.

Seattle has hit the Over in four of its last five overall, and the teams have combined to hit the Over in four straight head-to-head matchups. This one might not break any scoring records, but it will get Over 161 points.
