There are just three weeks remaining in the 2025 UFL regular season, and only two teams have been eliminated. No one has clinched a playoff spot yet.

Play gets underway for Week 8 on Friday night in San Antonio and concludes on Sunday afternoon in Washington, D.C.

Memphis Showboats vs San Antonio Brahmas

Friday, 8:00 p.m. ET, ESPN

Showboats Brahmas
+1.5 (-115) Spread -1.5 (-105)
+100 Moneyline -120
Over 36.5 (-115) Total Under 36.5 (-105)

This Friday night matchup is the only game this week that will be for pride, as these are the lone teams that have been eliminated from playoff contention.

The Memphis Showboats' only win this season came over the defending champion Birmingham Stallions, but they narrowly failed to close the deal in several close games this season.

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Brahmas have had a rough go of it this season following a runner-up finish last year.

They have only one win over the D.C. Defenders, who lead the XFL Conference. The Brahmas have a -2 point differential in their two games against the Defenders and a -91 score differential against the rest of the league.

While neither of these teams are good, the Showboats have at least been competitive in multiple games this season. The Brahmas seemed to have had something on the D.C. defense, but outside of those two games they've struggle to score.

I will take the Showboats on the moneyline as underdogs.

Pick: Showboats moneyline (+100 at DraftKings)

Birmingham Stallions vs St. Louis Battlehawks

Saturday, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX

 Stallions Battlehawks
+1.5 (-112) Spread -1.5 (-108)
-102 Moneyline -118
Over 39.5 (-118) Total Under 39.5 (-102)

Last season, these two teams were the best in the UFL from each conference and played an electric Week 7 game that resulted in a 30-26 Stallions victory.

While these squads do not have the same offensive firepower they had last season — mostly due to quarterback injuries — this will still be a fantastic matchup.

It is almost the opposite of last year as these two teams rank second and third in total yards allowed per game and first and second in points allowed. The St. Louis Battlehawks have allowed only 15 points over the past two weeks, and that includes holding an offense that scores more than the Stallions — the Arlington Renegades — to only six points.

The Stallions struggled early last week, allowing 25 points in the first half, but they shut out the Houston Roughnecks in the second half. I expect the defense to show up here and limit the Battlehawks on the ground.

With Case Cookus and Max Duggan at quarterback this go-around, I certainly do not expect a high scoring game.

Pick: Under 39.5 (-102 at DraftKings)

Michigan Panthers vs Houston Roughnecks

Saturday, 1:00 p.m. ET, FOX

 Panthers Roughnecks
-6.5 (-115) Spread +6.5 (-105)
-285 Moneyline +230
Over 43.5 (-110) Total Under 43.5 (-110)

The Michigan Panthers can clinch a playoff spot with a win on Saturday over the Roughnecks.

They won a thriller last week over the Renegades by scoring a touchdown and one-point conversion with one second left to win 25-24. That combined with the Roughnecks' choke last week against the Stallions has made this a do-or-die for Houston.

The Roughnecks have the worst rushing defense in the league and Bryce Perkins has been a menace for opponents when he takes off with the ball from the quarterback position. Toa Taua has also been a beast out of the backfield and is the fifth-leading rusher in the league — with Perkins being third.

The Roughnecks may be able to move the ball through the air with Jalan McClendon, but after scoring three touchdowns on their first three drives last week, they totaled only three first downs in their remaining six drives.

The Panthers should be able to take that defensive blueprint and control the game on the ground to win and cover here on the road.

Pick: Panthers -6.5 (-115 at DraftKings)

Arlington Renegades vs D.C. Defenders

Sunday, 12:00 p.m. ET, ABC

 Renegades Defenders
+2.5 (-110) Spread -2.5 (-110)
+110 Moneyline -130
Over 42.5 (-112) Total Under 42.5 (-108)

The Week 8 finale will be a rematch of a thriller from Week 5, when the Defenders beat the Renegades on the road, 37-33.

Each team surpassed 350 yards of total offense, and the Defenders overcame a 27-12 second-quarter deficit to dominate the second half. This game is setting up for more fireworks with so much on the line for both teams.

That game started a three-game losing streak for the Renegades, and now they must win to avoid elimination from the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Defenders can clinch a playoff berth with a win after going 4-6 last season.

The Defenders have been more like the "Offenders" this season with the best offense in the UFL in total yardage.

Jordan Ta’amu threw for 308 yards in their last matchup and Kalen Ballage averaged 7.9 yards per carry. Luis Perez also made some big plays through the air for the Renegades.

I expect a similar-style game with both teams fighting hard for the playoffs.

Pick: Over 42.5 (-112 at DraftKings)
