Iasmin Lucindo hopes to make up for lost momentum and collect the scalp of formidable veteran Angela Hill as one of our featured undercard attractions of this evening's UFC Fight Night card.

Lucindo will need to turn in an impressive performance against a motivated Hill, who wants to prove that age is just a number by taking out her much younger opponent. Lucindo is the -160 favorite over the +140 underdog Hill in the UFC odds

Here are my best Lucindo vs. Hill predictions and free betting picks from Las Vegas.

Lucindo vs Hill prediction and best bet

Fight analysis
Iasmin Lucindo’s last outing against Amanda Lemos was a nightmare. Not only was she severely outclassed, but the fight itself was painfully slow.

The two combined for just 16 significant strikes over three rounds, with Lucindo landing only four. She’ll need a far more active performance here against veteran Angela Hill.

At just 23 years old, Lucindo already has more pro fights than most fighters her age, though her recent results suggest it’s been more quantity than quality.

She’s a come-forward pressure fighter who works behind a stiff jab and low kicks before opening up with combinations and takedown attempts on the inside. Her 65% striking defense is solid, but her offense is measured as she averages just 2.94 significant strikes landed per minute.

When Lucindo can’t land takedowns, she’s been outworked on the feet, and both of her UFC losses came in those situations.

Hill, 40, is a supremely conditioned Muay Thai striker with relentless pace and durability. She thrives on volume, pushing opponents backward and piling up points, as evidenced by her landing 5.47 significant strikes per minute with a 50% striking accuracy.

However, she’s not a finisher and can be neutralized when kept at range or pressured with a strong jab. She’s at the point in her career where she is slowing down, but that doesn’t make her any less tough, and she is performing better as she ages.

But Lucindo’s heavier shots, athleticism, and ability to mix in takedowns should give her the edge.

Hill will push the pace, but Lucindo’s patient approach and stronger inside game should allow her to control key moments.

Best bet analysis
There’s a 17-year age gap between Lucindo and Hill, not to mention that Lucindo’s heavier shots should slow Hill down, and she’ll be the stronger fighter on the inside.

Whether she shuts Hill down with a jab or patiently sits back and lands big counters, Lucindo has the tools she needs to stop the always-attacking Hill from outworking her.

Both of these fighters are highly durable, and I don’t expect a finish in this one, but youth will be served. My best bet is Lucindo to win by decision.
