Blaydes vs Hokit fight prediction: Blaydes moneyline (-140)
This is a massive step up in class for Josh Hokit, as Curtis Blaydes has been a consensus top-five heavyweight for most of the decade.
Blaydes’ chin is an issue, but his wrestling is better than Hokit’s, and his losses in recent years have come when facing the best of the best.
The UFC might be in a hurry to rush Hokit and cash out Blaydes, but it won’t happen here.

Blaydes vs Hokit best bet: Blaydes to win by decision (+190)
As brash as Hokit is, Blaydes is far from faded to the point where he’ll lose to a fighter taking a massive step up in class.
Hokit packs power but remains largely untested in the UFC, going up against a fighter whose only losses have come against the elite.
Blaydes will fall back on his superior wrestling, and Hokit won’t be able to push him when his gas tank runs out. Blaydes by decision is my best bet.
