Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Johnny Walker headlines Saturday's UFC Fight Night at Meta APEX in Las Vegas after the originally scheduled main event between Gabriel Bonfim and Sean Brady was canceled.

Cortes-Acosta looks to snap a two-fight losing streak against Walker, who made an impressive heavyweight debut with a first-round knockout of Mick Parkin last month.

Walker is my pick. Cortes-Acosta is a tough, high-volume heavyweight, but his sloppy striking and recent struggles against more technically polished opponents concern me.

Walker looked impressive in his heavyweight debut against Mick Parkin, and I believe his explosive offense translates well to the division. He stands two inches taller, has a four-inch reach advantage, and should be faster.

His questionable chin remains a concern, but I back Walker to use his physical advantages to pull off the upset.

Odds as of 11-06.

Johnny Walker by KO/TKO is my favorite method-of-victory angle, with prices around +350 offering an intriguing return.

However, the market has moved toward Cortes-Acosta, whose implied win probability has climbed from roughly 64% to 67%. Walker's explosiveness makes him dangerous, but his durability remains a concern.

The two have never fought before, so there's no previous head-to-head price to compare.

Walker holds significant physical advantages, standing two inches taller with four inches of additional reach, while the fighters are separated by just one year in age. Walker also brings considerably more finishing power on paper. However, Cortes-Acosta has never been stopped, while Walker has suffered six knockout losses, making durability the most significant concern for the Brazilian.
