How to print and use your party prop sheet
How do Super Bowl prop bets work? Super Bowl prop bets (short for "proposition bets") are wagers placed on specific events during the game, which don't generally correlate to the final score. These range from in-play events, like who scores the first touchdown, to "novelty" props such as the color of the Gatorade shower or the length of the National Anthem.
To play along with our printable 2026 Super Bowl prop sheet, follow these four steps:
-
Download and Print: Distribute one prop sheet to every guest before kickoff.
-
Make Predictions: Players circle their chosen outcomes for each question (e.g., "Heads" or "Tails").
-
Assign Point Values: Assign 1 point for each correct answer, or use "weighted" points for harder predictions.
-
Tally the Results: The guest with the highest point total at the end of the game wins the grand prize.
Rules for the ultimate Super Bowl prop game
- Choose a scoring system: The standard is one point per correct answer, but you can add a little strategy by weighting “featured” props (worth two points) or using a confidence format where players rank their Top 10 picks from 10 points down to 1.
- Define what counts as correct: To avoid debates later, especially for props that might be voided or end up as a no-contest. A common rule is to treat voids as a push and award zero points, or to give everyone a point for that item. If there’s ever a wording dispute, agree in advance to use the official NFL gamebook, the broadcast call, (or our official live blog) as the final decision.
- Add a tiebreaker: Keep it simple so everyone can answer, such as total combined points in the game (closest overall, or closest without going over). If you want a backup tiebreaker, use something like total first-half points, the length of the longest touchdown, or total passing yards by the winning quarterback.
