Allisha Gray has been in her bag all season long especially against the Connecticut Sun because she routinely clears the scoring baseline, having averaged 27.5 points across two matchups against the Sun this season. Beyond her elite scoring floor, Gray's dual-threat versatility allows her to reach double digits on the glass, as shown by her 11-rebound performance against Minnesota when she actively crashed the boards from the guard position. Additionally, her playmaking and secondary distribution duties in the Atlanta Dream's backcourt give her an alternative path to double digits via assists against a vulnerable Sun perimeter defense.

Atlanta should control this matchup, but Connecticut’s offense makes 170 points a difficult ask. The Sun average just 79.0 points per game and scored 75 and 69 in their first two meetings with the Dream. Coming off a lengthy FIBA break only adds to the potential for offensive rust, making the Under my preferred angle in a potential blowout.

Against Chicago's defense specifically, Citron has historically excelled, maintaining an efficient 16.8 PPG average against the Sky while consistently capitalizing on their perimeter rotational coverage.

Despite the Sky having no players coming back from the FIBA tournament, I'll take the Mystics here. They are in a fight for playoff seeding, and winning out would serve them well, as they would likely avoid the Lynx in the first round. The Mystics own the third-best defensive rating in the league, and are dominant on the glass (1st). They can score, and should be able to defend well enough to create separation.

Additionally, the L.A. Sparks defense has struggled perimeter-wise all season, allowing opponents to shoot nearly 34% from deep while yielding over 91 points per contest. Combined with Ogunbowale's proven track record of elevated scoring output against the Sparks' soft exterior coverage, she is primed to knock down multiple perimeter shots.

Dallas’ defense gives me enough reason to fade this lofty total. The Wings allow just 85.4 points per game while holding opponents to 45% shooting, and they should control the glass against a Sparks team ranking last in rebounding and offensive boards. LA won't generate many second chances, making 176.5 too high for me.

I was down on the Mercury this year (cash the Under 23.5 wins), and I don't see this as a spot they show up for, especially out of the break. I'll take the team with more upside at home.
