Even if Victor Wembanyama has a hold on the Defensive Player of the Year award for the foreseeable future, Barnes belongs in the conversation this season, and I’m counting on another strong effort at that end of the floor tonight.
There’s nice value for this Over, with Barnes averaging 7.9 RPG this year and grabbing 7+ boards in three straight games. Toronto has the rest advantage and that should show up on the glass here, particularly with Phoenix’s injuries on the wing. The Suns also take the fifth-most 3-pointers in the NBA, so there will be long rebounds to corral.

The Pacers are terrible. No one would question that. And the Magic will certainly win, handing Indiana its 17th consecutive loss. But Orlando has only been favored by 11 or more points three times this season, and it's gone 1-2 against the spread in those games. The Magic have also lost four straight and have struggled to put opponents away. Blowouts aren't the name of their game, and while this should be a comfortable victory, the spread is a tad too big

The Rockets are the second-most methodical team in the Association, and they can dictate pace against the Bulls, who play fast and loose on offense. Houston struggles to cover big spreads, though, so I like that narrative to manifest in another Under, despite the lower total.
