Mohamed Salah has a hot boot, and the Liverpool ace looks to continue that trend on Sunday against West Ham.

Can dominant Liverpool be stopped in East London? West Ham will do their utmost to try and block a resourceful pack, but their chances of keeping Liverpool's flamboyant attackers quiet aren't realistically high.

Arne Slot's men look well-equipped to continue their unbeaten run, which now stretches to 22 games in all competitions (W19, D3). Liverpool scored nine goals in their previous two Premier League outings, and West Ham should feel uncomfortable as they prepare for the big match this weekend.

Here are my West Ham vs. Liverpool predictions and free soccer picks for Sunday, December 29.

EPL predictions for West Ham vs Liverpool

My best bet:
Mohamed Salah to Score Anytime (-120 at TonyBet)

My analysis

Mohamed Salah's form under Arne Slot has been amazing. In the 17 Premier League games he has competed in since the campaign started, he has already hit the net 16 times.

In comparison, in the entire 2023-24 season, he scored 18 goals (in 32 games), while in the previous one, he stopped the count at 19 (in 38 matches). Salah is 32-years-old and is looking to extend his deal at Anfield, turning down big-money interest from Saudi Arabia.

Not even the continuous talks about his contract situation unsettled him. Over the past months, the Egyptian has kept scoring repeatedly.

He is fresh from enjoying two great performances over the past week. First, he netted a brace against Tottenham last Sunday during an emphatic 6-3 win for Liverpool in North London.

Then, he put his name on the scoresheet against Leicester on Boxing Day in a comfortable 3-1 home win for Liverpool. I see his form translated into numbers against West Ham as well, so I'll go for Salah anytime goalscorer at -120.

Note that TonyBet also has Salah to open the scoring at London Stadium at an excellent +340.

West Ham vs Liverpool same-game parlay (SGP)

Mohamed Salah Anytime Goal-scorer

Over 10.5 corners

Over 4.5 bookings

Liverpool sits sixth in the corners' rankings this season, on 111, averaging 6.52 per game. West Ham is behind, with 95 in total and an average of just over 5.2 per match.

Against Leicester on Boxing Day, Liverpool alone had 14 corners, while against Tottenham, the "score" was 7-5 in Spurs' favor. The over 10.5 for West Ham - Liverpool should do the trick in our SGP.

Anthony Taylor will lead the game on Sunday evening. Regarded as one of the best English refs in his generation, Taylor is not known as the type to hold back his cards.

Given the intensity expected in this match, those who feel more adventurous could think about replacing the Over 4.5 bookings with a sending-off to set their return at a great +1660.
