This Wednesday, we find out the final team in this year’s Champions League final, with PSG and Arsenal meeting at the Parc des Princes in the second leg of their semifinal clash.

With Arsenal desperate to get back into this matchup mixed with PSG’s terrifying strike force, my PSG vs. Arsenal predictions have the game finishing with Over 2.5 goals and both teams finding the back of the net.

PSG vs Arsenal picks and predictions

My PSG vs Arsenal best bet: Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score (-110 at bet365)

For my best bet, I am backing Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score — which is the exact opposite of what happened in that first leg. There are a couple of reasons for that.

Firstly, Arsenal will be stronger with Thomas Partey returning from suspension. The midfielder adds something to their lineup and was influential against Real Madrid, a trick Mikel Arteta would love him to repeat here. It's also likely Arsenal's Jurrien Timber misses this game, with Ben White taking his place at RB.

Timber was exceptional in the first leg and the strongest player in the Arsenal backline, managing to shut down Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at times. White is a good deputy, but he’s not played as much as he’d have liked this season, and this matchup will provide him a real test of his sharpness.

We’ve seen Over 2.5 goals land eight times in 15 of PSG's UCL games, with it also landing in eight of 13 Arsenal games in this competition. More importantly than previous results is the nature of this leg and the finely poised scoreline.

Arsenal are set to be eliminated, and they simply need to score to give themselves a chance here. Arteta won’t be throwing players forward immediately, but at some point, we’ll see the Gunners throw caution to the wind and try to attack.

If there’s one team in Europe you don’t want to be having to score against, it’s PSG. That’s not because of their defense, which is, at least in defensive terms, not exceptional; it’s because of their ability to hit you on the counterattack.

The fullbacks Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi are incredible in attack, and the front three — which will consist of any three of their four stars in Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola, and Desire Doue — is as good as any in Europe.

What’s so scary about them is their speed. All four run like track stars, but even more dangerous is their trickery, jinking dribbling, and their reading of space. If Arsenal overload in attack, they will put huge pressure on their defense when PSG wins the ball back. This should mean plenty of goals.

PSG vs Arsenal same-game parlay (SGP)

Both teams to score

PSG to win

Ousmane Dembele to score or assist

PSG were the better team in the first leg, and although Arsenal have some positives coming into this game with the return of Partey, it’s hard not to think that the Parisians will win. With Arsenal needing to score, it will open up gaps at the back for PSG to hit them on the counter with their devastating speed.

Dembele scored the only goal in the first leg, which was his eighth in this UCL season. Dembele’s lightning speed makes him so dangerous on the counterattack, which could be decisive here.
