Look for Harry Kane and Serhou Guirassy to help Bayern and Dortmund light up the scoreboard at Allianz Arena on Saturday afternoon, per our soccer betting picks.

Both Bayern and Dortmund head into Der Klassiker after Champions League upsets and have major points to prove in front of their faithful. Moods aren't good at either squad, but a win in this rivalry game can surely ease the pressure on the players heading into the second legs of the Champions League quarterfinals.

Dortmund only sit in eighth place and have little to lose in Munchen, while Bayern can confirm their dominant Bundesliga status with a win. There should be entertainment in this game, as I explain in my Bayern vs. Dortmund predictions and free betting picks for Saturday, April 12.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund picks and predictions

My best bet: Over 3.5 (+100 at TonyBet)

My analysis
It's rarely boring when Bayern play Dortmund. The last two Klassiker confrontations only saw two goals being scored, but before that there was goal galore.

In nine consecutive games, there were Over 3.5 goals scored. Five of them even went Over 4.5 goals. There is context for a spectacular clash once more.

The two rivals have massive points to prove after disappointing European matches midweek. Bayern lost at home to Inter, 2-1, while Dortmund were hammered by FC Barcelona, 4-0.

BVB is desperate to play Champions League football again next season, so every game is a proper final until the end of their domestic campaign. Right now they are five points behind the Top 4 seats, with six matches left to play.

There have been Over 3.5 goals scored in Dortmund's previous three official games. Any other result than a win vs. Bayern is good for nothing, so Borussia must go all-out attack.

They wish to take advantage of the players Bayern will miss for this game, most notably star goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, defenders Alphonso Davies and Dayot Upamecano, as well as attacking jewel Jamal Musiala. Dortmund have fitness issues as well, with midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and international defender Nico Schlotterbeck unavailable. But Serhou Guirassy, Dortmund's top goalscorer with 15 hits under his belt, looks in fine form and should deliver a performance.

Bayern's attack screams danger. They have by far the best offensive record, with 81 goals in 28 games, averaging 2.89 goals per match. Now on 23 goals, Bundesliga's leading marksman Harry Kane is on a run to reach 30 goals at the end of the campaign. The Bayern management, as well as the staff and the fans, want him to deliver when he is needed most.

I'll go for the Over 3.5 goals for this derby match. TonyBet returns a decent +100.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 3.5

Harry Kane anytime goal

Serhou Guirassy 2+ shots on target

Before Bayern's home defeat to Inter Milan, Harry Kane was on a scoring streak, having hit the net in his last four official outings for club and country. In fact, out of the last 10 matches he played, he only failed to score in three. Against Leverkusen, in the previous Champions League round, he hit a home brace and added another away from home to help Bayern walk out 5-0 winners on aggregate. If you're looking for an individual performance, go for Kane.

It's hard to see his 23 goals in the league being equaled by Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy, but the striker has been in excellent form, adding numbers to Dortmund's season  despite their inconsistent campaign. He is on 15 goals right now, and I'll include him in our parlay to round up a nice +1534 return via TonyBet.

In his case, I won't go for goals, but shots on target. Even if he won't get his name on the scoresheet, he should be involved in the majority of Dortmund's dangerous attacks, so there will be plenty of opportunities for him to attempt on goal.
