This game simply can't be missed. It's Arsenal against the world, as the Gunners could make a massive statement in their chase of the Premier League title should they beat defending champions Liverpool.

My Arsenal vs. Liverpool predictions and free betting picks expect plenty of goals between these sides on Thursday, January 8.

Premier League predictions for Arsenal vs Liverpool

My Arsenal vs Liverpool best bet: Over 2.5 goals (-147 at Sports Interaction)

There have been Over 2.5 goals in Arsenal's previous three games, even going as high as Over 4.5 in the last two of them.

Liverpool are trying to come back after a massive autumn slip, and it's games like these that can boost confidence among players, fans, and board members. I believe both sides will be heavily involved in the attacking third, so I'll favor goals over anything else.

Keep in mind Liverpool like to turn it up late this season. Only Burnley's Premier League games have seen more goals in the 90th minute or later than Liverpool's nine. This should be fun to watch.

Arsenal vs Liverpool same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 2.5 goals

Bukayo Saka 2+ shots on target

Dominik Szoboszlai 1+ shot on target

Cody Gakpo 1+ shot on target

Bukayo Saka has scored in each of his last three Premier League home games against Liverpool. Should he hit the net on Thursday night, he'd be the first player in Arsenal's league history to ever score in four consecutive home games against the Reds.

Only Bruno Fernandes has been involved in more open play sequences ending in a shot in the Premier League this season (116) than Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai (103). He is one of Liverpool's performers, despite the gameplay problems they had over the past few months, and I'm not leaving him out of my SGP.

I'm not omitting Cody Gakpo either. The Dutchman has scored three away league goals this season, all of which have come in his last four league appearances in London. Gakpo could become the second Liverpool player to score in four different away matches in London in a Premier League season, after Mo Salah.
