The difference between a PICK and a $$$$ PLAY is that a PICK is a game you like, a $$$$ PLAY is a game that you KNOW. If you are claiming your choice is a $$$$, and you really have NO true knowledge of that game, then you are just cheating us and posting your PICK just for attention and to see your name on the board.&#xD;&#xA;RULES FOR POSTING - We will not track your $$$$ PLAY if you do not follow these rules. You are welcome to still post your PICK or card, but unless you do the things below, we won&#x27;t be putting your $$$$ on the spreadsheet.&#xD;&#xA;Only 1 $$$$ PLAY per day and a MAXIMUM of 4 per week.  &#xD;&#xA;A week starts on Mon and ends on Sun. Hey guys. I am trying different titles to the thread each day to see what gets the most attention and traffic. I had several people say they couldn't find the thread on Covers today, so I am going to try this thread title today and see if it helps. Since I had to remove the word "lock" from the thread and from the title, a lot of people are having a hard time finding it.

Thanks Tjuicy.  I think I need to avoid the word "lock" at all costs, though.  Covers won&#x27;t accept it in any form, it seems.  Thanks for the idea, though.  I would do that if I think it would be accepted by Covers.

$$$$ Play: IPFW &#x2B;1 @ South DakotaThis one is a head-scratcher. IPFW is a solid mid-major team with a record of 18-6, 7-2 in The Summit while USD is 10-13, 2-7. The records alone makes me wonder why the Mastodons are a one pt underdog?? Toss in that IPFW has already beat the Coyotes by 20 in a game they led wire to wire and I can&#x27;t help but put a solid wager on the Elephants.

going to lock the usc trojans -5.5

This one seems pretty straightforward to me usc is dominant at home (13-0 10-2-1 ats) and ucla is bad on the road (2-3 2-7 ats) In the first matchup earlier this year usc got up big on ucla and took a 18 point lead into the break and winded up winning by 14. I'm looking for usc to get a comfortable 10 point home win here.

&#xD;&#xA;Its OK, forty9.  Nobody hits them all. As long as you are $$$$&#x27;ing what you KNOW, then the numbers should get in the black quickly.  I suspect we had a bunch of $$$$ PLAYS last night where people who made the $$$$&#x27;s had literally never even seen the team play a single time.  Hoping we can start to eliminate that over time.....

0-1 $$$$ plays$$$$Jamie Lovemark -120 over Billy Horschel - Full tournament Matchup at the Waste Management Phoenix Open*This play will last either 2 or 4 full days depending on whether or not both golfers make the cut.I started betting golf (both tournament and daily round matchups) back in 2011 and honestly have been profitable in that time more so than any other sport (generally &#x2B; in CBB since that time, down in all other sports based on my tracking).Like this play a lot and have 4 units on it of my own.This week the PGA tour makes it stop at TPC Scottsdale which is always a fun tournament. The way this course sets up it really rewards bombers off the tee. Lovemark struggled a bit last week, but still made the cut to register in the top 40, but the conditions were very poor in San Diego and Torrey Pines in almost the exact opposite than TPC Scottsdale so Horschel&#x27;s better result does not surprise me there. Lovemark had registered three top 10 finishes in the 3 tournaments prior to that while Billy missed the cut at the CareerBuilder the week before so it is safe to say that Jamie is in much better form.Last year the Phoenix Open produced another 1st time winner in Brooks Koepka who is a very similar player to Lovemark. Big guy who can really get the ball out there off the tee while splitting fairways. Horschel does not have great history here and is more known for playing better on the more difficult courses as opposed to at a birdie fest.I like Lovemark to finish in the Top 10 again this week and expect Horschel to be near the bottom of the Made Cutters this week assuming he does make the cut.GL

$$$$$ Chattanooga -9.5This is a rematch from 1/11 where Chatanooga won by 9 at Wofford 77-68. Wofford was able to knock down 13 3&#x27;s and still manage to get beat in this game. The difference was at the ft line 19 made by Chattanooga vs 3 by Wofford.Contrasting styles of play with these teams. Wofford runs a 4 guard offense and its tallest player is 6&#x27;6". They come in 6-3 in conference play while going 3-10 on the road. They&#x27;re 1st in conf play shooting the 3 at 39.5%. They live and die with this game. Defensively they rank last in conference play in rebounds, steals, and blocks per game. Chattanooga comes in leading the conf at 8-1 including 9-0 on its own court. They have 7 players average between 7.3 and 11.4 ppg. They&#x27;re a very balanced squad and their top 8 players are all Jr/Sr players. Despite their balance they still score 78.6 ppg while holding opps to 67.6 ppg. They also rank 2nd in conference behind Wofford shooting the three. They rebound and steal well and rank 1st in conf in blocks pg. Also had decent non-conference wins at Georgia, Illinois, and especially at Dayton. Thoughts are they gave up 13 3&#x27;s on the road in their first tilt and managed to win by 9 points. If they can improve on that # this should be an easy DD win. $$$ St.Marys @ BYU OVER 151.5*Scoring ability on both sides &#x2B; BYU revenge factor = HIGH SCORING AFFAIR*BYU lost to ST.MARYS earlier this season by double digits on the ROAD. BYU is now @HOME, where they are UNDEFEATED, I look for them to come out hot and light up the scoreboard. St. Marys has had themselves good success this year with a few big wins. They are like BYU where they can put up lots of points. I see this game being close and in the 80&#x27;s.BOL!

$$$$ play: Wililam &amp; Mary -1 @ NortheasternNortheastern is coming off a 4 game losing streak, losing 6 of their last 7, and 0-4 their last 4 home games. In this group of games, Northeastern has played teams like Towson, Charleston, and Elon, none of which are as good as W&amp;M. Northeastern is 2-6 in their last 8, but where did those 2 wins come from? Against Delaware. Yes, the terrible Delaware. Northeastern&#x27;s win of the season came back in November, when they beat Miami by 1. They haven&#x27;t done anything impressive since.These teams played last month (at W&amp;M), and W&amp;M blew Northeastern out by 18. Omar Prewitt from W&amp;M will likely be defending Northeastern&#x27;s Quincy Ford for a portion of the game, as W&amp;M switches between man and zone. Northeastern runs a man defense, yet still manages to allow one of the highest 3PT% in the league - something W&amp;M will love, as they rely on the three heavily. Play this before the lines becomes -2 or -2.5 by tip.

*PLAY OF THE DAY* $$$$JMU -6 vs DrexelJames Madison is a good team sitting at 16-7 (5th) in the Colonial Athletic division. They are coming off of 2 straight losses against teams who rank 1st and 3rd in the division. Tonight JMU is playing Drexel (3-18), who they played 2 weeks ago at home. They beat them by 23 points.The fact that JMU has lost 2 straight makes me like this game even more. They will not be messing around in this game. Expect them to come out firing and continue to increase the lead. JMU 4-1 in last 5 road games.  I have JMU easily winning by double digits.
