Magicarpetride~
I'm inclined to go with your choice of Hawaii, and after seeing the two top guys that I follow pick Santa Barbara, I read up on the stats and went ...
.
For the life of me, I cannot see what they see, but as it often happens, outcomes that I would not pick and that they've chosen -- wins.
So, what can I say? I'll just hold my breath and roll my dice with my guys, I guess.
BOL to you (except tonight, lol).

Hi Dark~
I doubt that $$$$ plays can be 2H plays (though these are my favorite) because of the 30-minute-in-advance-of-the-game requirement of the $$$$ plays.
There's not enough time to research the 2H play, put in your play with your book, then post the play here in this forum in time for others to tail before the 2H begins play.

My $$$ pick is Hawaii + 1.5
1. Hawaii is 29 vs. losing teams including 7-1 this season.
2. UCSB has dropped 8 out of 11 vs. winning teams.
3. They are a dismal 1-6 at home if the line is within a pk or -3
4. conference record is 5-1 UCSB is 3-4
5 Average for Hawaii 79.6 for UCSB is 70.0
6 Average Defends is 67.6 for UCSB is 69.6
It all adds up to Hawaii winning this game.

Why?
In one word: "Systemy."
Systemy has given me permission to put any of his plays on this board, so here's the first one.
He has not posted any plays for two days and is 5-0 outside of Covers on Twitter.
I have a tout who used to be here at Covers and he also has UC Santa Barbara as a large play for the day. This guy does not post very many large plays at all.
So, that's my choice of the day.
I may occasionally put in my own $$$$ plays (I almost put in Clemson that was a winner and a $$$$ of someone else on that day), but for the most part, I'll put in Systemy's plays to contribute to the value of this thread.
I suggest to all of you to always put your $$$$ play choice at the very top of each of your posts, in bold and isolated in a single line, like how I did so above.
That will make it MUCH easier for Holmey to home in on what your $$$$ play choice is for the day.
If you bury your play in the middle of a paragraph, then Holmey (and others) will have to wade through your words to find it.
It can be helpful if you also include the time of the game, along with the time zone.
So you're basically just posting someone else's play and using it as your $$$ play?

Hey guys. I agree that taking other's plays and posting them would not qualify as a $$$$ PLAY for yourself. However, any posted plays here are encouraged. I won't track that one by Mozart because it is not his play and also because there is no writeup other than ATS records of another person. But the posted play is perfectly fine and encouraged. It just doesn't qualify as a trackable play. Thanks all!

This is an accurate explanation, Dark. We love for you guys to post 2nd Half plays here, mainly because there is often some really good value in them, but no 2nd Half plays for $$$$ PLAYS. Thanks......

Holmey, et, al.~
I'm completely agreeable with not tracking plays that are plays of others. No problem.
That's why I made it clear right off the bat that the play for tonight was Systemy's play and not my own. I would want my record to reflect my own choices, not others.
And, guys, please, don't call me a fraud, as that is not what I'm about.
It's best to refrain calling people names until any situation clears up, such as the one tonight with my posting someone else's play, of which I was upfront and transparent about it.
The reason why I'm posting Systemy's plays is because it's my wish for all of us to win more money and beat the books. Period.

Lol, Holmey~
I hear ya, but that's why I did not bite on the Over on this game. The differential between the lined Over and the potential was too big for me (too good to be true); however, I think that the 2H Over might be a great play, though.
You could recover your original Over play for the game ... or double the pain.
But the scoring is starting to pick up, though.

Colorado is a strong, confident, veteran team. They are playing like total b****hes tonight. I have never seen this team so unbelievably tentative.
