When I went to bed last night, I had Utah (-2.5) as my LOCK of the day. Figured it was an easy winner.
Then, this morning, I talk myself into taking USC (-4.5) as my LOCK. Figured it was an even easier winner than Utah.
Then, like an idiot, I talk myself into taking the Oregon over as my $$$$ PLAY. Still looking back and wondering how I convinced myself it was a better LOCK than USC.
Those were my 3 bets. I, of course, made the only steaming pile pick by $$$$ PICK.
Time for some sleep. Putting up tomorrow's thread and then going to bed. Best of luck tomorrow fellas.

Mozart and Warlord, sorry about your UCSB pick. THAT WAS my "lock" of the night and your other guys were completely wrong about Hawaii. Much stronger team, much better team and the stats were out there to bite you in the a... . Any way, Hawaii won by double digits. Nice "lock" of the night. Better luck with your "other guys" and their picks.

I changed my mind about the UCSB play at the last minute and decided to ride out my Oregon play (thanks to it being one of the $$$$ plays by someone in this thread), plus make a play on BYU 2H.
You were right about Hawaii ... I could not, for the life of me, find any angle that worked for UCSB.
But I have no doubt that Systemy was frustrated with the UCSB pick and that he would be right back with a strong winner tomorrow; but, the other guy, the tout? I dunno, man. He's been doing bad and I'm going to stop following most of his plays now.
I've been lucky with my picking and choosing amongst the best of the best plays here in this amazing thread, so I have to be careful of the dreaded Regression Monster biting me in my azz in the near future.

I don't consider it "influence" to me, you take the knowledge that other people provide and combine it with your own knowledge to create your own opinion.
The fact that people are forced to do write ups in this thread is what makes this an incredible thread. The more knowledge you can have on a game the better. When I read through threads on here I pretty much just skip over the ones that have picks with no other information regardless of what that users record is or if they are running hot.
