For all you people all over Boise’s nuts: any of you remember Hawaii vs. Georgia?

Hawaii went into the game undefeated.  Many thought they should be playing for the national championship. About half the “experts” on ESPN said Hawaii was going to beat Georgia and almost everyone here thought the game was going to be close.

Hawaii walked around the field before the game wearing shirts that read “13-0: dominate the nation.”

End result: they got murdered 41-10 and it easily could have been a lot worse.

Hawaii’s Heisman finalist QB Colt Brennan after the game said "it was the fastest team I've probably ever seen. We just couldn't get into our groove and do what we wanted to do."

Brennan set the Division I single season passing TD record by feasting on high school teams much like Boise does every season and look what happened the first time he went up against a great and motivated SEC team. He got lit up.  His whole "unstoppable" team got lit up.

And that is what is going to happen if Boise plays an SEC team in the BCS championship game.

Can not compare Boise St and Hawaii

Straightshooter do you remember Boise St and Oklahoma(All Day on that team)?

Boise St has been playing at these level for years and Hawaii had one good season

That Hawaii team played no defense

I also remember 2006 year,,not many gave Boise ST a chance vs Okl in the Fiesta bowl either.  Okl was a 7 pt Fav. and Boise was undefeated. Boise St beat them 43-42 in o.t. ,yet they still didnt get much credit . Last year in the Fiesta Bowl TCU was a 7 pt Fav and Boise beat them 17-10. 

What levels? Playing against an OU team that didnt want to be there and Boise playing in their biggest game in school history?

Hawaii didn't beat TCU, Oregon, Oregon St, Oklahoma or Va Tech

Boise continues to beat whoever is put in front them

no comparison between those two teams, they are nothing alike

When one team barely misses out on playing for the national championship and their consolation prize is playing a bowl game against a non-BCS opponent: they don’t want to be there.

Is this really that hard to figure out?
