For all you people all over Boise’s nuts: any of you remember Hawaii vs. Georgia?

Exactly and that's why I said what I said, implying that both cases(yours and his) are not really relevant but somehow you can only see his being irrelevant.

Back to the topic: Just for the sake of discussion, lets say Boise and one SEC team(doesn't matter which one) are the only undefeated teams at the end of the year and they are chosen to play in the title game( real possibility and lets forget whether you think a 1-loss team from big-10, big-12 or whatever others deserved more in your opinion). For any reasons, Boise won. To you, it still doesn't matter because 1) Boise plays in a weaker schedule and 2) it's much easier to prepare for 1 game as you and some others have suggested. As you can see, Boise can't win no matter what.

Also, please look at other facts:

1) People keep complaining about Boise's schedule but they always forget to mention that Boise has been trying very hard to upgrade theirs. The so-called "big-boys" wouldn't want a piece of them for good reason. So it's not really fair to put all the blame on Boise. It's like we won't play you for our selfish reasons and turnround to use it against Boise.

2) It took Boise two defeated seasons to get where they are(to be ranked this high at the beginning of the season so they have a realistic shot at the title game), beating some very good teams along the way. So it's not like they were given a free ride.

3) Under the current system(no playoffs), every team knows the rules going in, so why penalize Boise when their chance is coming up??

I don't have a problem with your opinion except when you implied that only people making ANY senses are the ones agreeing with your view.

Well duh, Boise would beat Hawaii. My point was everyone was all over Hawaii because they waltzed through an easy schedule and when they finally went up against an SEC team with SEC speed they got raped.

Boise hasn’t faced a team with real speed lately and the last time they did they lost 48-13.  Its like what Colt Brennan said. It doesn’t matter how good your offense is if the other team is the fastest you’ve ever seen and you don’t have an answer for it.

Hawaii went into the game undefeated.  Many thought they should be playing for the national championship. About half the “experts” on ESPN said Hawaii was going to beat Georgia and almost everyone here thought the game was going to be close.

Hawaii walked around the field before the game wearing shirts that read “13-0: dominate the nation.”

End result: they got murdered 41-10 and it easily could have been a lot worse.

Hawaii’s Heisman finalist QB Colt Brennan after the game said "it was the fastest team I've probably ever seen. We just couldn't get into our groove and do what we wanted to do."

Brennan set the Division I single season passing TD record by feasting on high school teams much like Boise does every season and look what happened the first time he went up against a great and motivated SEC team. He got lit up.  His whole "unstoppable" team got lit up.

And that is what is going to happen if Boise plays an SEC team in the BCS championship game.

In their last 5 games against the SEC Virginia Tech is 1-4 losing by an average of 15 points per game.

You are one of those who suggests that it's much easier to prepare a single game with plenty of time. In fact, you insinuated that it's probably the main reason why they could beat Okl(bowl game) and VT(beginning of a season). So you could still use the same argument, no??
