How many times have you seen a team have a letdown the week after a game of lastnights magnitude? It happens all the time people, and the competition level, week in and week out is why Boise would be like the other mid level teams in the SEC, and lose 3-4 games a year.

You are making way too much sense for most of the people in this thread.

Bad comparison I agree, but Boise would be a below average team in the SEC!  Boise plays teams with absolutely no defense! Vt's defense was horrible!!!  In the south it all about the D!!!!!!! If you dont believe it, just ask the Ohio state buckeyes. 0-12 against the SEC! 4 out of the last 5 national titles won by an excellent SEC defense with an above average offense!!! 

Well, it has about as much to do with it as comparing this Boise team to that Hawaii team. Seriously, not many people were giving Utah a chance to beat Alabama not too long ago. Besides, why is it o.k for you to do that but when someone else do it, it becomes irrelevant all of a sudden??

Defense and speed. Lots of speed. Colt Brennan said it best after 12-0 Hawaii played an SEC team:

"it was the fastest team I've probably ever seen. We just couldn't get into our groove and do what we wanted to do."

You just cant prepare for that when most of your schedule is made up of high school teams.

Oh yeah by the way the Hawaii vs. Georgia game was hilarious!! Hawaii did their tribal warrior stomp and chant and then they got ass raped!!! The first game of the next year they came down to Gainesville and got skull fucked!!!!!  They have not played anymore SEC teams!!! Lol!!!

How is jacksonville state beating ole miss relevant to anything in this thread?

Nowhere did I say it's relevant( I really don't know how you can have that impression), but neither is comparing this Boise team to that Hawaii team.

I'm a die hard Gator!!! I will cheer for the Dawgs, but I think Carolina has a better D and a more experienced QB!!  AAron Murray will be great one day though!! The dawgs do have Green and Ealey coming back so it should be a great one!!!

Exactly and that's why I said what I said, implying that both cases(yours and his) are not really relevant but somehow you can only see his being irrelevant.

Back to the topic: Just for the sake of discussion, lets say Boise and one SEC team(doesn't matter which one) are the only undefeated teams at the end of the year and they are chosen to play in the title game( real possibility and lets forget whether you think a 1-loss team from big-10, big-12 or whatever others deserved more in your opinion). For any reasons, Boise won. To you, it still doesn't matter because 1) Boise plays in a weaker schedule and 2) it's much easier to prepare for 1 game as you and some others have suggested. As you can see, Boise can't win no matter what.

Also, please look at other facts:

1) People keep complaining about Boise's schedule but they always forget to mention that Boise has been trying very hard to upgrade theirs. The so-called "big-boys" wouldn't want a piece of them for good reason. So it's not really fair to put all the blame on Boise. It's like we won't play you for our selfish reasons and turnround to use it against Boise.

2) It took Boise two defeated seasons to get where they are(to be ranked this high at the beginning of the season so they have a realistic shot at the title game), beating some very good teams along the way. So it's not like they were given a free ride.

3) Under the current system(no playoffs), every team knows the rules going in, so why penalize Boise when their chance is coming up??

I don't have a problem with your opinion except when you implied that only people making ANY senses are the ones agreeing with your view.
