It’s been a high-scoring series so far between the Anaheim Ducks and Edmonton Oilers, and I’m expecting that trend to continue in Game 4 tonight.
Find out why with my Oilers vs. Ducks predictions and NHL picks for Sunday, April 26.
- UPDATE: Added a prediction for who will win tonight.
Oilers vs Ducks Game 4 prediction
Who will win Oilers vs Ducks Game 4?
Edmonton: I’m taking the Oilers to regroup and win Game 3 on the road. Although the Ducks have been the better team, with a 55% expected-goal share, I’m expecting the Oilers to show up in a near must-win to wrestle back home-ice advantage.
It’s been a quiet series for Connor McDavid, who has just two points and is a -6 in the series. I’m expecting a breakout from the league's Art Ross winner tonight to lead his team to victory.
Oilers vs Ducks best bet: Oilers team total Over 3.5 (-130)
The Over is 3-0 in this series and the Over 6.5 is priced at -170 again tonight (Over 7.5 +130). However, the better value play is for the Edmonton Oilers to go Over their team total of 3.5 goals. This bet is also 3-0, but with a much better price at -130.
It’s actually 6-0 to the Over when you factor Edmonton’s regular-season games against Anaheim this year, too, with the Oilers averaging 5.16 goals against the Ducks this season.
Additionally, Anaheim Ducks starter Lukas Dostal has an .874 SV% through this series.

Oilers vs Ducks Game 4 same-game parlay
Neither team has defended well, and goaltending has been suspect on both sides. This has led to a high-scoring series, and I don’t see that changing tonight. I’ll add the plus-money Over 7.5 to my SGP.
Lastly, I’ll add a little more value to this SGP by adding O 0.5 points for Oilers winger Vasily Podkolzin at plus-money odds. He’s recorded at least one point in each game this series while being saddled up on Leon Draisaitl’s wing.
Oilers vs Ducks SGP
- Oilers team total Over 3.5
- Over 7.5
- Vasily Podkolzin Over 0.5 points
Oilers vs Ducks Game 4 goal scorer pick
Leon Draisaitl (+125)
With the Oilers in need of a win, I’m expecting their big dogs to show up tonight. That's why I’m making Leon Draisaitl tonight’s anytime goalscorer, who feels quite underpriced at +125, especially when you consider his romance against Anaheim.
Not only does Draisaitl lead all NHLers with 42 playoff goals since 2021-22, but he has 17 goals in his last 19 games against the Ducks, including one in Game 2.
Additionally, this Oilers power play finally snapped its skid in Game 3. The floodgates could open now, which is where Draisaitl has made his living all year and throughout his career.
Oilers vs Ducks odds for Game 4
- Moneyline: Oilers -135 | Ducks +115
- Puck Line: Oilers -1.5 (+165) | Ducks +1.5 (-200)
- Over/Under: Over 7.5 (+130) | Under 7.5 (-150)
