The New York Rangers have dropped four consecutive games, although three came by just a single goal. My Blues vs. Rangers predictions see New York’s fortunes finally changing on home soil on Monday night.

Let’s dive into my November 24 NHL picks.

Blues vs Rangers prediction

Blues vs Rangers Best bet: Rangers moneyline (-140)

The New York Rangers' home struggles are well-documented, but they have not played as badly as their 1-8 record would suggest.

They have generated 12 more high-danger opportunities than their opponents. Generally speaking, that is going to translate into good things more often than not.

It’s been the opposite for the Blueshirts. Despite generating a larger share of quality chances, the Rangers have been outscored 28-13, and 12-4 when isolating high-danger chances.

They have just a 25% share of the high-danger goals despite taking more than 52% of the HD chances. That is going to normalize over time.

A matchup with the St. Louis Blues could be exactly what the Rangers need to bring that regression to the forefront. The Blues rank 29th in save percentage, 30th in goals against, and 31st in high-danger goal share.

Part of that can be attributed to St. Louis consistently losing the goaltending battle, and that should be the case again when facing Igor Shesterkin.

Look for the Rangers to right the ship on vs. a Blues team that sits dead-last in wins on the year.

Blues vs Rangers same-game parlay

Adam Fox cleared his line at a 53% clip last year while generating 4.6 attempts per game. He’s taking close to six attempts per night under Mike Sullivan, which has resulted in a 70% hit rate. The Blues have given up the sixth-most shots to defensemen over the last 10 games.

Mika Zibanejad is pacing the Rangers in goals, shots, and chances. He’s most likely to capitalize on St. Louis’ poor netminding.
