Cordell's prediction: Noah Dobson, Cole Caufield, and Alex Tuch are standout performers in Game 4.

Noah Dobson has seen a steady dose of offensive zone draws in this series and made the most of them, leading the Montreal Canadiens in 5-on-5 shot attempts against the Buffalo Sabres.

The volume should remain strong in Game 4, which is why he headlines my Sabres vs. Canadiens props and NHL picks for Tuesday, May 12.

Game 4 Prop #1: Noah Dobson Over 1.5 shots on goal

-160 at BET99

Noah Dobson has been on the ice for 21 offensive zone faceoffs at 5-on-5, the most among Montreal Canadiens skaters. Martin St. Louis is giving him cushy usage, which is especially beneficial against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Canadiens have won 57.1% of their draws during the playoffs, while the Sabres rank dead last with a 42.4% win rate.

Montreal consistently starts with possession. Given how frequently Dobson starts in the offensive zone, he's getting extra touches off the draw and easy opportunities to put pucks on net.

Game 4 Prop #2: Cole Caufield Over 0.5 points

-170 at BET99

Cole Caufield had his best offensive performance of the series in Game 3. He recorded a team-high five scoring chances and was finally rewarded, tallying a goal and an assist.

That should lift the monkey off Caufield's back, as he had clearly been feeling the pressure of the slump.

Caufield has hit the scoresheet in seven of his last eight home games following one day of rest. He also has points in four of his last five home dates against Buffalo.

Game 4 Prop #3: Alex Tuch Over 0.5 points

-120 at BET99

Alex Tuch was all over the ice in Game 3. The Sabres generated more shot attempts (17) during his 5-on-5 minutes than any other player, and he was heavily involved.

Tuch attempted five shots and accounted for 0.52 of the 0.86 expected goals created with him on the ice.

Dating back to the regular season, Tuch has points in 28 of his last 40 away games. He went back-to-back without a point once: the last game before the Olympics, and the first game after.

The Sabres will lean heavily on Tuch to try to level the series, and I expect he'll come through.
