The Cleveland Browns are heading towards September with a string of quarterback questions to address, and they’ll look for answers in today’s final preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams.
While L.A. is sticking to its usual approach of extended rest for the starters, Cleveland can’t afford to play the long game, and my Rams vs Browns predictions expect the hosts’ QB battle to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

Rams vs Browns Best bet: Over 36.5 points (-110 bet365)
It’s a day of auditions here at Huntington Bank Field, headlined by the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback shuffle that should see Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders all taking turns under center.
That should translate into steady offense for the Browns today against the Los Angeles Rams as each QB tries to press his claims for playing time, and I like the hosts to power the total towards the Over here, especially with the likelihood that Jerry Jeudy, David Njoku and Co. will be working against second-stringers in the L.A. secondary.
It’s also a chance for Rams starter Dresser Winn to show off his strengths. As the fourth quarterback on the L.A. preseason roster, Winn is an expected cut next week – but another team could still snap him up if he connects on some clutch throws.
While Rams are short on big names again for this finale, Sean McVay is still going to coach his group hard. The visitors have scored 54 points through two preseason contests, despite keeping Matthew Stafford, Puka Nakua, and Davante Adams in street clothes, and end-of-the-roster options have emerged among the reserve pass-catchers.
A line of 36.5 just feels a little low when you consider that Kevin Stefanski has committed to significant snaps for his first-team offense, and I’m banking on Flacco to be dialled in early before the Cleveland young guns get their chance to shine.
