NFL Bet Now or Bet Later Picks for Week 4: Pack It Up, Pack It In

Micah Parsons' return to Big D comes in Week 4 as the Packers visit the banged-up Cowboys, who could be without CeeDee Lamb. Take Green Bay now before the spread balloons any further.

Week 4 of the NFL season is the point at which the gap between bookies and bettors starts to widen.

The oddsmakers’ power ratings are humming with three weeks of data, which means the spreads and totals hitting the board will be tough to beat.

If you think you’ve got an edge, then you need to get the best of the number to boost your chances of cashing in with your NFL picks. I help you do just that with my weekly “Bet Now, Bet Later” lines.

Here are the NFL Week 4 odds to jump on now, and those you may want to wait on.

NFL predictions: Week 4 bet now, bet later picks

  • Packers (-5) at Cowboys: Bet Now
  • Bears at Raiders (-1): Bet Later
  • Panthers at Patriots (Over 43.5): Bet Now
  • Colts at Rams (Under 47): Bet Later

Green Bay Packers (-5) at Dallas Cowboys: Bet Now

The “Micah Bowl” is one of the more anticipated games of Week 4, with the former Dallas Cowboys star returning to Arlington for the first time since being traded to the Green Bay Packers before the season.

The Packers are coming off a rough loss at Cleveland, blowing a 10-0 lead in the final three minutes. But they face a much different defense in AT&T Stadium on Sunday Night Football. The Cowboys’ secondary is horrible and has been gashed for massive gains in the opening three games.

Dallas could also be down its top offensive weapon with standout WR CeeDee Lamb leaving the loss at Chicago in Week 3 with an ankle injury.

This spread is sitting below the key number of -6, so if you’re backing the Pack in Big D – bet it now.

Best odds to bet Packers -5 right now

Chicago Bears at Las Vegas Raiders (-1): Bet Later

The Chicago Bears blasted the Cowboys at home while the Las Vegas Raiders were rolled by the Commanders in a 1 p.m. ET road game.

Those contrasting results already have this spread all over the place. As of Sunday night, some books have Las Vegas as an EVEN money -1.5 home favorite while other shops list Chicago as cheap -1.5 road chalk.

Market consensus is going to boil down over the next 12 hours, and we’ll likely see the Raiders getting points at home, based on their back-to-back losses. If you like the Silver and Black, put a pin in this meeting.

Chicago still gave up a ton of yards to Dallas and benefited from four turnovers in Week 3, along with the Cowboys losing Lamb in the passing game. The Raiders can hit some big plays on offense, and Chicago’s defense has plenty of holes.

Carolina Panthers at New England Patriots (Over 43.5): Bet Now

The New England Patriots put up just 14 points in the loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday, but left a lot on the table in doing so. New England had an interception in the end zone and a fumble on the goal line, erasing a possible 14 points and a victory in Week 3.

The Pats outgained the Steelers by 166 yards with 26 first downs and an average of 5.2 yards per play. But five turnovers burned what should have been a home win for New England.

The Carolina Panthers pounded Atlanta 30-0 and also benefited from a slew of miscues from the Falcons. Atlanta coughed the ball up three times in a very ugly game, one of which was a pick-six for the Panthers.

Carolina’s defense may have pitched a shutout in Week 3, but I’m not convinced that this stop unit has turned a corner. The Panthers will be playing their third road game in four weeks when they come to Gillette on Sunday.

The look-ahead total was 45.5, and some books have already jumped from 43.5 to 44.5 Over/Under. Bet the Over now.

Best odds to bet Over 43.5 right now

Indianapolis Colts at Los Angeles Rams (Under 47): Bet Later

The Indianapolis Colts have totaled 103 points through three games, facing modest totals of 43 and 42.5 points the past two outings. Bookies are now convinced Indianapolis is for real, setting the Week 4 number at 47 points.

The Colts travel to SoFi Stadium to face the Los Angeles Rams, who let a win in Philadelphia slip through their fingers. Los Angeles blew a 26-7 lead to the Eagles, allowing 26 unanswered points, including a potential game-winning field goal that was blocked and flipped into a 61-yard TD return for a Philly cover.

Sean McVay faces a similar attack as the Eagles in Shane Steichen’s playbook for Indianapolis. Before blowing that lead on Sunday, this L.A. stop unit was No. 2 in many advanced metrics and is the Colts' biggest test so far.

The total for this non-conference clash is rising, with some sportsbooks as high as 47.5 points. If you’re looking to buy back a high-scoring Week 3, make sure you’re at least getting the hook on the key number of 47 points before betting the Under.
