The New Orleans Saints might be feeling good after their first win of the season, but that might not last long with the New England Patriots coming to town.
Prior to their first win of the year, the Saints had lost all four prior games by 5+ points.
For the Patriots, they’ve had no problem going on the road this season with a 33-27 win in Miami as 2.5-point underdogs and that 23-20 win on Sunday Night Football in Buffalo.
I can’t see the Saints keeping this a close game against a Patriots team that is picking up steam.
Early Patriots vs Saints total pick: Under 45.5
The Saints have been one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league this season with 92 points through five games. They’ve been held under 20 points in three of their five contests, and I see a similar result coming against the Patriots.
New England held the vaunted Bills offense to just 20 points after a 42-13 win over Carolina the week prior.
If this game goes Over the total, it’ll be the Patriots running up the score as they did against the Panthers, but the Saints should be able to keep it respectable at home.
