The Jacksonville Jaguars head out west to take on the Las Vegas Raiders, with both teams coming off much-needed bye weeks.
Jacksonville is happy to be back on American soil, and Trevor Lawrence is glad to see his usual starting five in front of him.
The Raiders are hoping to erase the memories of a 31-0 humiliation at the hands of the Chiefs, with Brock Bowers returning to the lineup, providing a significant boost.

Jaguars vs Raiders Best bet: Brock Bowers Over 54.5 receiving yards (-114)
Geno Smith and the Las Vegas Raiders will be thrilled to see Brock Bowers on the field Sunday, and Bowers will be thrilled to see the Jacksonville Jaguars on the other side of the line.
That’s because the Jaguars have allowed the ninth-most yards per target of any defense this season against tight ends. The Rams got 47 yards on three targets from Colby Parkinson in their win. Seattle tight end AJ Barner also got just three targets, turning his three grabs into 71 yards.
Even in the win over Kansas City, Travis Kelce had a strong outing. He was targeted eight times, making seven catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.
Before his injury, Bowers caught 19 of 27 targets in four September games. And while he topped 50 yards just once — going for 103 yards on five catches against the Patriots — he had at least one catch of 18 yards in three of those games.
Jacksonville will be without Travis Hunter, who hit the IR this weekend. That means the secondary will not have someone they can trust at all times in single coverage on the outside.
Safety Eric Murray was also placed on the IR, making the back end more susceptible to big plays.
Bowers was targeted 13 times last year against the Jaguars, catching 11 of those passes for 99 yards. Look for him to become Smith’s favorite target on Sunday, with the Jaguars once again getting burned by the tight end.
Jaguars vs Raiders same-game parlay
Travis Etienne went MIA the past few games, but he faced two Top 10 defenses against the run. He was also operating behind a banged-up offensive line. However, Liam Coen said this week that the Jaguars need to run the ball more, and there are no linemen on the injury report following the bye week. Etienne should get back on track with an uptick in carries.
Smith has been a turnover machine, and the Jaguars thrived in the early season by taking the ball away from their opponents. That’s why I expect Pete Carroll to get Ashton Jeanty on track early and feed him often. The rookie back topped 60 rushing yards in four straight games before the loss to the Chiefs, where he carried the ball just six times.

Neither of these teams has a quarterback who you’d consider elite. But for all his struggles, Trevor Lawrence has taken care of the football. And he showed against the Chiefs that he can win a game.
He’s back behind his starting offensive line, and unlike his last two games, won’t be facing an intense pass rush. Jacksonville’s defense will force Smith into a few turnovers, and that will be the difference as the Jaguars get back into the win column.
