Commanders vs Chiefs MNF predictions

Commanders vs Chiefs MNF best bets

Commanders Commanders +11

-110 at bet365

Josh Inglis is not sure if the quarterback move from Jayden Daniels to Marcus Mariota is as bad as the market believes, so it might be time to buy low on the Washington Commanders.

"Washington still has plenty of pieces offensively to backdoor this. The 44-22 loss Washington took last week might be factoring into the KC love. This is as high as we see KC, and maybe as low as the market confidence is in Washington. This was KC -5.5 on the lookahead with Jayden Daniels under center."

Over 48

-110 at bet365

Inglis is leaning toward the Over at a favorable number in fair conditions.

"This total was 50.5 on the lookahead with Daniels projected to start, but the move to Mariota has pushed this down to as low as 46.5, with a mid-week push on the Over that drove it back up to a flat 48 on Friday. The weather and wind shouldn't be an issue either. Neither team has been profitable on the Over this season, but this Washington defense has given up 24 or more points in all but one game this year."

Commanders vs Chiefs MNF TD picks

Commanders Marcus Mariota anytime TD

+400 at bet365

Sam Farley can't resist the anytime touchdown price on Mariota.

"It’s been a while since Mariota was a regular starter, but he’s always been a reasonable rushing threat and has 19 rushing touchdowns to his name. The Kansas City Chiefs have given up three rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks in just seven games this season. At big odds, it’s worth a sprinkle on Mariota to rush into the end zone, especially with his running back corps not really excelling this season."

Commanders vs Chiefs MNF props

Chiefs Rashee Rice Over 6.5 receptions

+125 at bet365

Jeremy Jones believes Rashee Rice will get targets galore once again in his second game of the season.

"Rice made his return from suspension last week, and he was welcomed back with a peppering of targets from Patrick Mahomes. He finished with seven catches on 10 targets for 42 yards and two touchdowns. This Commanders defense ranks 24th in overall passing efficiency and 25th in passing yards allowed. They've also allowed an opposing player to have at least seven receptions in two of the last four games."
